Next man up!
Tough break for Rodgers, but if we have to lose a guy, we're deeper at WR than anywhere else.
The silver lining is that some backup playmakers are going to get a chance to make some plays. Derion Kendrick is a weapon.

I don't think it's been confirmed that Rodgers misses the entire season. I'm sure there will be a decision at some point to redshirt. Even if that happens, he could be back for the playoffs.

He needs to have the surgery immediately and get into rehab ASAP. With that he would very likely be back with the team at some point this coming season. Or he could redshirt, and be back full bore nex year.

If he can have the surgery and rehab goes good he could be back towards the end of the season. With the new redshirt rule if he is able to play 4 games and still redshirt so by playoff time he could In theory if everything goes good be helping tigers win anothe title and still get a redshirt. Hope everything goes great I really like Rodgers and he was in for a really good year but next man up! Go Tigers!!

If his 4 games are the National Championship game, the bowl game, the ACC championship and South Carolina can he still redshirt? Basically, when is the latest they can declare a redshirt?

Did this past year. This is the most likely scenario as no reason to try to push to have him back in 6 mos- earliest should be 8-9

The way that the cookie usually crumbles, we are so deep and so talented at WR, it would be really hard even with a Amari Rodgers type talent, to miss part of a season from an injury and come back in and take over like the injury never happened. It would probably be best for Amari to Red Shirt, come back in 2020 at full force and play his hand at taking his spot back from who ever filled in for him!!! Clemson FB plays championship FB that calls for next man up when an injury happens, and the best players on the field in the starting positions!!!
I have no doubt that Amari will be back at some point at full force, but we are very talented at WR, and coming back from that type of injury, taking his job back as the top guy at his position won't be an easy task, some make it back as if the injury never happened, and I expect that to be true with Amari Rodgers, but there has been cases that those type injuries affect some players in a way mentally that they never make it back the way they were before the injury. I wish Amari the very best of luck on his journey to making it back soon as if the injury never happen, and he makes it back physically and mentally stronger than before. One step at a time Amari, hurry back, but at the right time!!! Go Big Tiger!!!

As much as Dabo changes out the receivers when he comes back he'll get plenty of playing time. Remember for most of the year Tee Higgins and Justyn Ross swapped out as a receiver during the season. It wasn't until the NC game that they were both on the field at the same time most of the game. That was one of the reasons Amari Rodgers shifted to slot receiver and Ross took over his place. Dabo wanted to get the best on the field at the same time. Amari will have no problem coming back and getting significant playing time.
