I had to laugh thinking about Saban and Ogeron looking at Clemson playing starters only 70% of the time and waxing opponents with the floor.
SCARY right there I tell ya!

They maybe thinking they will have to face Clemson here pretty soon, and they want fresher legs than they had in out last meeting.
How bad we beat our opponents during the season, that really don't mean all that much to me as long as we're creating more experience depth. But I hope that I don't have to watch another game this season as close as the UNCheat game bc, we were only a down and a couple of yards from losing that game, and our depth I believe is the reason we were able to keep UNC out of the end zone their last play in that game. That last possession that UNC had in that game, was as bad on my nerves as our last play beating Bama in the NCG!!!

Multiple Tiger 2s in on that 2-point try by UNC.

Since we start rotating them on the second or third possession, the Bucks would have to rotate them on the first or second for it to be earlier.
If you rotate on the first possession, you've technically now made the backups the starters and the starters the backups, which defeats the entire purpose of rotation.
So.......
I assume you're referring to the act of removing the starters from the game, like soccer, never to return . Goody for them. Does that make them the #1 team in the nation? Does it mean the Buck 2s are getting quality snaps (against Ohio, and Rutgers, and Northwestern, and whoever is this week's MAC opponent)?

Starters take improper loans and get disqualified and so the backups become starters!!! I had to figure out your riddle since no team plays more players per game than Clemson!

They was still playing starters up 40 going into the 4th quarter against Nebraska and north western so I seriously doubt they put backups in earlier

I really don't think we take our starters out any earlier on average than most teams. I do think we probably end up playing 3rd team guys and beyond a little more often in the blowout games though.

I love the posturing by Venables here... Dude isn't scared... Took a page out of ole' Dabo's playbook out of the "aww shucks" chapter in playing like he doesn't know how he's ever going to stop any of those offenses... No doubt those are two very solid teams that played on Saturday.. But Brent will have something for both of them if/when that times comes.

Aw shucks it appears you lost your way and you’re in the comment section of a Clemson website cause your team sucks! Or because you’re jealous either way it looks pathetic

Studies show that the part of the country where people travel less, read less and assume they are just naturally relevant because "everything happens here", even though it doesn't--
is New England.
You're either naturally superior to us, or intentionally inferior. Which is it today?

It was a good thing they watched some of the game. However the comment was over the top. Who’s going to be it.
