Good article. Tigers can't take FSU lightly. Defense has to stop the run cause its coming. Aong with every other trick play.

A coworker of mine (and FSU grad) was very vocal last season after the FSU win. He won't even talk to me much about this season but fully expects that Clemson is going to destroy FSU this weekend.

I expect that Dabo & Co will be hounding the guys about this game. Fact is, overconfidence and under preparation can ruin a good weekend. I'm not sure what this weekend will say, except whether this team will take the season seriously, or lean on prior performance.
One glaring fact remains, though. If we want to be taken seriously, as a team, and as a playoff contention team, is that we must up our competition. I used to argue that this conference, while not the top conference, had enough to keep us competitive vs sec and big10. I no longer believe this. This season has been atrocious for almost every other acc teams. BC is having a great year - for them. Louisville seemed to be rising, until they met a ND team that lost to NIU(seriously???). Miami is good, but hardly a top 10 team - not even close (we should curb stomp them). If we want to get better, be truly relevant, we're going to have to switch conferences. The uga debacle proves this.

Would think Fla St will throw everything at Clemson they can. They are looking for a signature win to save face on the season. Don’t take them lightly. Focus and execution on every play whether it be offense or defense and keeping foot on the gas will be needed to put them away. GO TIGERS

If Dabo does not fully prepare the team, encompassing all expressed above, then he is not the coach that he has been for years, and I don't believe that. FSU is the sole focus, and Dabo will get them ready. For revenge, to keep up our standard, to try to catch up on the record of wins, bc DJ is there (ok that's me) and because we are Clemson and we have destroyed the idea of "##########" when we lose to teams we shouldn't. He will have them prepared, the players need to translate their home success to the road, and that's on them. I have ORANGE FAITH.

FSU is 125th in total offense against a slate that's not too great. Now, on a backup quarterback and just lost a starter on the offensive line, I just don't see this being too much to worry about, even though a wise person would be. Could be it be tricky for 25 minutes, maybe, but over 60 mins I think Tigers eventually break FSU and pull away. I do think FSU will play hard for as long as it can, but I got the Tigers 34, Noles 13

This season is like no other since 4 team playoffs switched to 12 team playoffs. Without new format Ole Miss and UGA would be done.
