We win, we don't have to worry about them on our field.
Edit: I should have added, Dabo hit the nail on the head. Yesterday was a bad look for College football all across the country. I even told someone the Flag Planting or gathering at the logo will need to be banned from post game celebrations.

Luckily we haven't lost too many at home for this to be an issue. When you have a team that brings a large crowd like this one and you lose, it becomes an issue. As much as love the tradition, it should never be allowed after a game like this.

We'll need to get used to it a little more. Since we won 40 straight home games, starting at the SC loss to Rattler and Co. in '22 we're only 11-5 at home.

If everyone that sold tickets to Coots donated what they sold the tickets for over face value to NIL it might not happen again!!

Put more energy into teaching your defense how to tackle and teach your offense how to block better to get 1 yard on 4th down, then you won’t have to worry about that happening.

totally agree tackling,or lack thereof, was dismal-time for Wes to go! as for other points,Sellers was great-from Florence to Syracuse to USC-where were we? Sanders-portal take for USC -we got boat raced! I could not blame Dabo for doing the Saban fold! NCAA is one hot mess! I live in Charlotte-have absolutely zero interest in the ACC championship!

Time to stop allowing fans on the field. Too many issues around the nation. NFL would never allow this to hapoen

You got it, stop allowing fans on the fields after game. Traditions or not it is dangerous. It can be called other names, but in the end, it is storming the field or rushing the field, and it is dangerous. Let's say your star player gets run over by fans how would you like it. Dabo says he was in the middle of it, and it was dangerous, what if he had gotten hurt? The teams deserve to be able to meet each other after a hard-fought game and not deal with fans running on the field. I am not defending any team for planting a flag, I am only backing up what I see each game as fans rush or storm the field to gather at the paw.

The players are the ones planting the flags. How is keeping fans off the field going to prevent that? A fan might get hurt in the scrum but that’s a totally different discussion.

Yes, it's a hobby that needs to stop in college football...one minor difference

is that it seems that last year it was done "later" and perhaps not immediately.
https://www.thestate.com/sports/college/acc/clemson-university/article282327508.html
In the photo above...it seems that the SCAR team had already departed last year.
This year, it seemed the case that in multiple games...teams were trying to do this immediately while both teams are all out there at midfield and that caused issues. UNC/N.C. State and Ohio St./Michigan were worse.
It seems the immediate nature of it provokes scrums.
Gonna sound like an old man, but both teams should act like they've been there before. Clemson included.
Perhaps cheerleaders need to be trained to secure the flags immediately upon games' end.

1. Win and we don’t have to worry about it. 2. Changes in NIL just makes “entitled” players even worse - when they already don’t have discipline or class to begin with. 3. USuCk has never had class in winning or losing. 4. At the end of the day USuCk still sucks and always will.

Maybe try and win the game instead of waiting to lose. Midfield possessions in second half and nothing. Pathetic effort.

Aaaahhhh yes. I remember back before I went blind and was diagnosed with dementia. The good ol’ days, when every day was a new dream world hallucination of the coots being the gold standard of decorum and sportsmanship.

You have a problem with something he said, Gumbo? He stated facts. Usuck being the aggressor the entire 4th qtr. Trying for the onside kick should’ve pissed Dabo and Co off. We should’ve made them pay for trying that crap. Instead we go 3 and out. Then 3 and out again when we simply needed to either score a fg or sustain a freaking drive. We did neither. Pathetic - playing not to lose and keeping our D on the field when they were obviously struggling to stop Sellers.
Reality vs fantasy. Pretty obvious where you reside.

Childish and Stupid. Plenty of cameras in stadiums now. Anyone involved in that should be suspended for the postseason or first game of the next season from now on. That would fix it or turn on the sprinklers.

They were “pushing and shoving” just like the coots. I suppose they should be suspended too? Make them sit Saturday.
They had 60 minutes to protect their home field. Take your beating like a man and go to the locker room. If our guys hadn’t tried to start something it wouldn’t have been an issue. Just like Ohio, UNC, and FSU. Win the game on your home turf and it doesn’t happen.

We allow our fans on the field which I love our gather at the paw tradition and want to keep it! What we need is REAL security period ! What we have not worth the money or lose obviously! Allowing animals on the field too..obvious violation not enforced by our “security “!

You sure have a beef with the security people. Do you know for a fact that security people have been told that opposing teams' mascots are not allowed on the field? Please share where you have the written policy about this. Clemson shares with each company that has individuals working those games what is allowed and not allowed. I would dare say that taking an animal mascot onto the field has not been addressed with those companies. Until yesterday it has not been an issue. I am sure this will be discussed between Clemson and USC with steps taken to prevent it in the future. I worked on that field for years with two different companies and it was never covered about animals on the field in briefings before each game. Security also could have been released for the day when this incident happened.
I know you are upset that your hated rival had their mascot on the field, but give the security people a break. I have been there I know what they go through.

Rivalries have gotten soft. What’s wrong with flag being jabbed at the logo. If you don’t like it…..beat em……and I’m talking to the players as well. Watch em do it and let that fuel you for the next 365 days. We earned that loss as much as they earned the win. It’s not easy winning in DV…..you’d be planting a flag too….. GO TIGERS! BEAT SMU!!!

People are just dumber and more disrespectful nowadays. People try to get on tv or gain notoriety through the viral nature of doing something like this.. it’s gonna get the college sued at some point once some fan gets flattened. I’m sure it’s a topic of conversation this week among the top brass in Tiger Town.

at the same time if the opposing team's fans decide to rush the field.

For 60 years I have been going on the field after the games. It has never been a problem until recently with the new entitled players and fans. I don't want to give up our tradition due to something a bunch of Coot's have done. The problem is theirs, not ours. The NCAA should make a rule that is a player plants a flag or provokes anything, he is suspended for a game. If it is a fan he/she is banned for the following year from attending games.
