All of our hearts hurt! I can still hear his name being called out in Death Valley after being credited with a play, and there were lots of plays. I don’t know why he was shot but may the person who did serve a life sentence

This is just a ridiculous comment. I've lived in Greensboro since 2003. Greensboro is plenty safe. Just like everywhere else at this point in this country, with the overabundance of guns in our American society, people are misusing them here and causing heinous crimes like this.

one bad thing regarding the whole game yesterday. Tigers played great but it was so sad to hear he is gone in such a tragic and senseless way.

I felt the same way. Just took the wind right out of me. As I mentioned before, I met Dre’s father in an airport on the way to a playoff game and we talked for quite a while. Just a super family. He has kept me informed about Dre’s activity in the USFL and UFL. He is so proud of Dre and his accomplishments at Clemson, and was very excited about Dre’s plaque on Tiger Walk memorializing him being a team Captain. I thought that was a good place for a tribute and was not at all surprised by Dabo’s reaction during Tiger Walk.
My kids are just a few years older than Dre and I can only imagine how much they are hurting. Please pray for the family. No one should have to go through what they are going through. 🙏
