Most 2 and 3 star recruits will build an interest with all coaches, especially at schools like Clemson...

I wish more 4 and 5* high school players would put more importance on schools that respect development and avoid the quick fix of the transfer portal. Maybe eventually that will become something Clemson can use to their recruiting advantage.

We may not have as many 5 star kids as some teams have, but we do get a fair amount of 4 star kids.

Again, bad narratives. Clemson has their share of 5 stars. Been landing in the top tiers for 5s for quite a while now.

I agree, we have had some great players who have been in the NFL that are 3 star athletes, I believe in coach and I wish others would believe in him. He has developed young players who have been in the NFL, case in point, none other than Hunter Renfrow. If some will just look back on the history of what has been happening at Clemson and look at some of the players who have been in the transfer portal. Many play 1 year and goes back into the portal. I cared for DJ but he is now at FS. He had no loyalty to Clemson like so many of young athletes. I would hope that the fair weather fans would become committed just as some of our players are committed and have hung in there through the good and the bad times.

Coach will turn this around just like he did when he first started, how quickly we forget. Be true Tiger fans. I deeply respect the fans who have stood behind us all the way even when we have had bad years. I have seen really bad years after Coach Howard left, remember not even Alabama has been exempt from bad years.

Some of the younger fans, please get on your phones, computer and type in and find out the history of some schools. Ohio State, Alabama, Michigan and other big schools have had years that wasn't up to what they wanted.

May God be with Coach Swinney and our team.

Where did you get 2 or 3 stars from? Let me guess - out of your ### - that’s your M.O.

He’s got offers from Alabama, Georgia, FSU, and us.

Does that sound like 2 or 3 stars?

Imagine that .... a kid likes Clemson because we don't use the portal. I thought that was impossible!

Good size, sounds like our coaches are doing a great job building a relationship with him.

It seems like in today's world they don't build bonds with coaches, they build bonds with collectives and how much money they'll make. They choose based off of where they'll get paid, not where they'll get an education or a shot at the NFL.

Sad to see the changes in college football.

Don't care about 'bonds', care about commitment.
