I suppose you could argue that the extra week gives our guys time to continue to get better but......they had better be paying our expenses if they want us to come back! I mean really - how many cases have they had this year so far compared to us. If you live in FL you have no room to criticize anyone where COVID is concerned.

and the ACC had no issues with this game being played TODAY. Bottom line - FSU canceled the game whether it was from a place of genuine concern or being a convenient excuse to keep from getting taken to the woodshed.
Regardless, Clemson should not be penalized by having to travel back to Tallahassee on 12 December because some FSU medical personnel want to hold opponents to higher standards than the agreed upon ACC standards. If this game is going to be rescheduled, FSU needs to bring their candyasses to the Valley to get their comeuppance.

If we met the agreed upon ACC criteria to play and FSU chose not to play, Clemson should ask the ACC to rule this to be a forfeit by FSU. If the ACC is unwilling to call this a forfeit, FSU should have to pay our travel expenses if we travel back in December or come to our place. 3 hours before game time to make this decision was lame.

A forfeit doesn’t help any of our top players who may be under consideration for post season honors .
Yes , I know this is a team sport and we are not in it for individual honors, but dang it , we ought to pad those stats this year when we can .
We won’t be playing the Scocks this year .

Just heard Andrea Adelson’s report and I can see both sides. FSU was not comfortable that the player traveled with the team. Hard to really argue that is not a valid concern.

It sucks they made it to FL and can't play. Not sure why they can't get a Friday test result sooner though because there are some available. Those may not be perfect, but they may catch someone sooner than 3 hours before kickoff.
I think it stinks that eSECpn is trying to make this some huge controversy and appear that Clemson was not concerned for anyone's health only the game. So they plan in December, we'll still beat them then!
The reality is also that if the backup OL player was positive maybe as early as Thursday, we may see many more positives in the next few days. If that is the case, then that could have also been passed to the FSU players and staff so logically makes sense to hold off. If we offered to play Sun or Mon, that really doesn't solve the potential issues IMO.

If the Clemson team followed distancing and mask plus face shield protocol what's the difference in Norvell testing positive but team still playing? Don't tell me he stayed in the Bowden Tower all week before the game he tested pos. in!

When FSU was the elite program, was dealing out butt kickings to us. We still showed up and played. I have lost all respect for FSU . They deserve to loose for a decade for this travesty . FSU is truly a dead program. I hope they loose every game the next two seasons. I was actually looking for the game. I couldn’t find it, so I looked on TigerNet . I was shocked and mad. How many people made that trip, paid money for hotels , food and travel to hear this horse sh*t 3 hours before? Total bull crap! FSU was scared. No one can convince me otherwise.
