Perhaps the narrative for Klubnik was too great, but I am impressed with his progress. This second half of the season gives him all the opportunity he needs to really become a first rate QB, in the tradition of Watson and Lawrence. We will not win the Natty this year, but I think we will be poised to win next year, given Klubnik's steady improvement and the young talent we have elsewhere.

Neither Watson nor Lawerence had to on board a new OC from the outside in coklege. Klubnik progressing but definitely had some bad throws in the Wake game but generally made good decisions. Expecting a breakout vs Miami after the break.

Is there any Fanbase in college football that gets fed more propaganda from its coaches than us? Klubnik did not even put up 20 points on a terrible wake forest team at home last weekend. He and Riley have both been a disappointment this season in my opinion. Do not tell us, show us on the field in actual games!

Your math is a little off (actually about 60%) but he is only getting better, still a freshman really by games played. Obviously ball handling security is number one - not so much INT's though we have been lucky in the respect several times. I am hoping to see a new team after the break as we have to beat the "U" to have any chance of not being covered in Mayo come bowl season. GO TIGERS

Riley know he needs to use the Portal. The following is from The Athletic site:
After transferring from Auburn, Oregon’s Bo Nix (6-2, 225) re-established himself as an early-round NFL prospect last season, and despite a change at offensive coordinator, his play hasn’t fallen off in 2023. Only two FBS quarterbacks this season have at least 15 touchdowns with fewer than two interceptions: USC’s Caleb Williams and Nix.
Washington QB Michael Penix Jr. (6-3, 221) has been even more productive this season and belongs at or near the top of any Heisman list. Transferring before last season from Indiana, this season he leads the FBS (by a wide margin) in passing yards per game (399.8) and is second in passing touchdowns per game (3.2), behind only Williams.
keithlove adds: At halftime Saturday, 10/14, FSU led Syracuse 17-3 and FSU transfer receiver Keon Coleman had 6 catches for 114 yards and a TD. Coleman had two TD catches when FSU beat us this year.

Cade is gonna be a good one, it’s not his fault fans have a terrible delusion about what Deshaun/Trevor were at the beginning and completely ignore who they had around them. QBs from here on out are absolutely set up to fail from the jump due to impossible immediate expectations

Offensive line has caused the most issues for our subpar offense performance.

Looks much better with Sewell and Sadler in, ready to move on from the older guys who haven’t played well and get these young guys in

Only people who thinks his hands are tied are the ones who don’t understand football. Like he’s said multiple times it’s the same offense he’s always ran but personnel is different. Just go back and watch TCUs offense last year not much difference other then experience at QB, speed, and a monster WR on the boundary. Once Riley can get some of his guys in the system and Cade can get some more experience it will come together. If you take away the dumb mistakes it wouldn’t “look” as bad as many seem to believe.

I have to say I was more disappointed in the coaches then the players during the 2 loses because they were not making the decisions or helping the players do what they needed to do to win with play calling and poor clock management.
