Recruitment against Portal, Smart against Athletic, Hopeful against Confidence, Stubborn against New ways, Fire against splash for 4 quarters. Will there be a new King of the conference or will the Standard hold? We will see. It's time to HOLD NOTHING BACK.

It didn't give me any confidence. Three three and outs, looked rattled, ran for his life, not able to make something from nothing and should have been picked in the end zone. If FAU can blow up the O Line and get after Cade for the entire third quarter what in heck does he think will happen when FSU comes in with a grown man at QB and a score to settle? Unfortunately I don't see Saturday ending well.

I hope Riley doesn’t mean the opposite of what he says like Dabo. The way the offense came out after halftime against an inferior opponent was worrisome.

I want to see more from Riley. His offense seems a bit off. I thought we would see more exotic formations jet sweeps. Mis direction. Is it me . Idk.

If it's exotic you're looking for, take a vacation to Kauai or Maui Hawaii!!! You'll love it, and it's definitely exotic!!!

Stay off Oahu, not so exotic.
Also, like allorangeallthetime52® was trying to say, the offense doesn't need to be exotic it just needs to work.
Riley's offense at TCU wasn't exotic, more like Coach Boone in Remember the Titans - I only run a few plays, it's like Novacaine, just give it time, it always works.
When Riley came here, he was very honest and up front that his offense was very trimmed down and focused on executing to such exacting standards that it doesn't mean what the defense is running or if they even know the play call.
Cade's completion percentage is a very encouraging statistic. Give the team time to get game reps - they have been improving and getting closer to what we all expect from them every week!

True that Oahu isn't exotic like Kauai or Maui Hawaii, and that's mainly bc Oahu probably has 2-3 more times the people living on that that Island than any of the rest, including the Hilo (Big Island) But, I lived on Oahu just a little over 4 years, and my then wife and I would go to Kauai or Maui just to get away from all the people for the weekend, and to know that while living on Oahu we did take advantage of visiting other Hawaiian Islands. I will say this, I loved living on Oahu bc it's also beautiful place and it smells awesome in the mornings or right after a rain. If I could afford to live in Hawaii right now, I wouldn't have a problem with going right back to Oahu to live, and in fact, me and my wife were talking about moving to Hawaii several months before I injured my back bc I absolutely loved living there, but it is a costly place to live, and costly trip to have visited my family here on the main land.
We spent at least one weekend visiting all the Hawaiian Islands with the exception of Niihau, and that was bc when I lived on Oahu in the 1980's, the government that ruled over Niihau wasn't to welcoming of tourist/visitors, and if you didn't have family living on Niihau, you couldn't wonder or drive to other places on the Island, and they were very strict about making sure that you didn't wonder off by yourself, that could only be done with an official of Niihau bc they simply didn't want outsiders on their Island.
While on Oahu, I become very close friends with a few Hawaiian locals that their ancestor families had been in Hawaii all their lives on one Island or the other. One of those local Hawaiian friends that I made while there, we have stayed in touch ever since I left in the later part of the 1980's, and even today we still talk to each other no less than once a week, and sometime more, he is without a doubt one of the best friends that I've ever had, and we have kept our friendship alive all these year through Ma Bell. But anyway, when they started letting visitors on Niihau to roam around on their own, My friend Bryan tells me that when I come back to Oahu to vist, that a friend of his has a small plane that he uses for Island hoping, and they would take me to Niihau for a day being that was the only Hawaiian Island that I didn't get to visit when I was living in Hawaii!!!

I guess the best moments in a coaching career, is when you have a group of kids that you've seen bend to a critical point, and they didn't break, that's when you know you have a group of kids that if not right now, but very soon will win at the highest level. I'll except that right now bc I see greater accomplishment right around the corner. That may not be this coming Saturday, but I believe that Garrett will have our offense working very well sooner than later.
If Garrett gives Clemson another year of his offensive coaching ability, next year could be our year, but he still has a lot of FB to play this year, and maybe our year could still be this year... Go coach Riley!!!

Well one thing is for certain, we will know if this teams pieces are fitting together to make a picture or not come lunchtime Saturday. I wasn’t impressed by Fl St over BC and if they have that game against us we win! Problem is everyone tends to bring their A game against us and it being a nooner doesn’t help with the crowd. I’m hoping for the best, bracing for the worst and praying for a miracle
