But I thought Tennessee was WRU?

Ha ha ha ha
But seriously though. It's almost frightening how good these receivers are coming in. After watching Ross own Alabama I was thinking how scary good our receiving corp is going forward. I wasn't even thinking about more crazy good receivers coming in with the new class. It's unreal.

Same here. I've been so wrapped up in recruiting, I had temporarily forgotten about all the Freshman talent now on board. I also re-reminded myself that TL and JRoss are only sophomores.

Tennessee claims to be a lot of things, but in reality, when they grow up, they want to be like us. They covet what they do not have.

What we have with all of our different positions reminds me of the words of the past of practice makes perfect and it does, as the same goes for talent attracts other talent. Supreme talent is now coming to Clemson to test, compete and prove themselves with how they to measure up to the talent that we now have at Clemson, and it all started for us with the guys like Tajh, Nuke, Sammy and so on. Practice makes perfect, just as better talent invites better talent to compete against, it always has and always will!!!

Only perfect practice makes perfect. I can play the piano all Dolan, but that doesn’t make me good.

And we're deep there . There is about 2 other teams in the country that can claim even being CLOSE to Clemson as far as depth and potential . None that have coming back what we have as far as proven talent ( Sorry , Bammers ). Our offensive potential this fall is unrealistically good , lol . We shouldn't be in a close game at all based just on our offensive ability to take over games . Here's to healthy players and great play on game day !
Go Tigers !

Sammy didn't have the competition that these young freshman have. Sammy was spectacular but our depth at WR wasn't near as good as it is now. our 3rd team WR's will start at almost any team in the country but nor at Clemson and that's ok because Dabo and company like to play a lot of WR's.
Go Tigers.

What concerns me a lot with Amari Rodgers and his injury, is that we are so talented and deep at his position is, will he be able to come back into a starting position!!! The very second I heard that he had an ACL injury, I said to myself, OMG this isn't going to turn out well for him with as deep and talented as we are at the WR position. That is about like being recruited bc of his exceptional talent, but not showing up until two years later, everything has changed!!!

I can see Rodgers going back to starting as long as he comes back for his senior year. Given the lack of depth at TE, we will be playing more 4 WR sets for the next couple years. With Kendrick moving to CB and Higgins likely going pro, Rodgers could start at Renfrow's old slot WR position with Ross and Ngata on the outside and Ladson as the #4 WR in 2020. Ladson and Ngata could potentially be switched around.
