Dabo needs to be honest with himself about where he has the Clemson program at right now. That was brutally bad. Clemson will become a punchline.

Hey David, how many yards did we gain on those out passes at the line of scrimmage. I bet they gained as many yards as they gain in practice, none, well maybe not bc I think I heard that our 2nd string D played against our 1st string offense, so those plays probably look good in practice, but that's only place they will ever look good!!!

Wasn’t much difference points wise between this 31 point loss and the 37 point loss to West Virginia long ago in the Orange Bowl. Difference was the Orange Bowl team scored more than 3 points.

Why are they not throwing the ball to Troy Stellato?
Has the best hands on the team made some great catches last year towards the end of the season.
QB never looks his way. Was wide open on so many plays last year I don't understand?
All Dabo does is talk about the two new freshmen yet he has plenty of talent just needs a quarterback, who is more poised back there. You can make better decisions.

Pretty clear the coaches have done nothing different this off-season than they have the past three years. Receivers look slow and soft, the blocking is subpar, Olines slightly better but still nothing great, quarterback still looks lost. Coaching looks like Tommy West to me

No we won’t.

They were conservative in the first half. They opened things up in the second half and scored 28 points. Extrapolate that over 4 quarters and you’ll get how bad this could have been. Like Georgia-Oregon bad. There’s not an offense in the ACC with that much talent.

The whole portal NIL thing is an ignorant and lazy take. Dabo has embraced NIL. As for portal, they have wanted some portal players who went elsewhere. Also, if portal and NIL were the problem, why is only the offense bad?

I will always respect Dabo so much for what he has done for Clemson. And I get that we played an excellent opponent today. But we can all see that something isn’t right, and most disturbingly - nothing is changing for several years now. The school is spending a fortune on coaches, and we deserve more than that.

The fact that we had 8 months to prepare a game plan for today… and this is what the staff came up with says a lot. Our X’s and O’s along with our Jimmy and Joes are not elite. Outcoached, outplayed, and more of a desire to win…. All very evident today… especially in the second half. This staff makes no half time or during game adjustments on offense and I’d say defensively in the second half we didn’t have any answers either. The defense was worn down I understand… but if you’re championship caliber team you should be able to slow the bleeding. Coaching is an issue and has been for 4-5 years. We’re a soft football team… reminds me of the Tommy Bowden days.

Yeah, we’re back to the Bowden days. Dabo is basking in his success and his millions of dollars, he doesn’t seem to really care about winning anymore. He just needs to gracefully step aside and let a younger, hungry coach take over. He can spend the rest of his life in Tuscany, sipping wine for a golden chalice.

We'll bounce back and win some games and Dabo will beat his chest and tell everyone to buy stock. But we have an easy (non p4 schedule) that's looking weaker by the moment.

Just ask yourself honestly, what our record would be if we played uga's schedule. And imo, uga won't be in the championship game. Contrary to @dhood, I don't think their D or their O is nearly as good as they looked.

Don’t delude yourself. Georgia will be 10-2 at the very worst. Most likely 11-1, with a loss at either Bama or Texas. They’ll make the playoff, snd with their depth, they’re nearly a lock to make the final 4 teams. And I’d give them at least a 25% chance of winning it all

Thus is the best team we’ll play all year by far. Only Bama, Ohio State and Texas are even close.

There were improvements made during the off season, before or during the game ? Please someone point them out to us! Coach did the right thing by taking full responsibility for this loss, but the truth is we have not changed one thing our offense has been malfunctioning since Chad Morris left and apparently took the vertical down field passing game with him. I think Both Brandon Streeter & Coach G Riley are much better offensive minds the TB infamous hire of Rob Spence screens very few plays more than 5 yards past the line of scrimmage. Someone please rattle the Tiger cage!!!

wait on it to come to them.....we did that on the INT today and Randal is doing the same thing in the pic on David's post.

Now look at Mike Williams 2nd catch in this clip...Think of how many times you saw him go up and get the ball. Think back to how Sammy went up and took that ball in the endzone against Ohio State. None of our receivers do that now. They all wait for the ball to come to them and they try to cradle it. IMHO that has got to change.

YEP to not attacking ball.
Please tell me how this offense is different from last couple of OCs. Every year I ask where are the crossing routes? Where are the routes over middle? Why do we seem to run fly routes when we can't fly? Does anyone remember the button hook? Isn't a TE supposed to be able to block? The receivers don't seem to be disciplined. When was the last time we yanked a player after a screw up? - That sends a message.
I have been a Cade supporter. I think he is a good person. I keep asking how can you win all those Texas championships, yet can't seem to read defense or process what you see. Long throw accuracy is poor. What ever happened to leading the receiver? Isn't the arm strong enough. Time to split some QB reps.
Since the end of last season, I have been waiting for MAFA to be unleashed ( I think he was waiting too). RBs get better the more you use/run them. TBH either Riley is overrated, or its really Dabo calling the plays, because the offense hasn't changed.

As I watch a game on tv, I look at the players eyes. I don't see confidence in Clemson "skill" player eyes. I just see "am I doing ok?" or even fear.

The OL did seem to improve some, so why not unleash them AKA run the ball. Pass blocking is a passive action.

Other than these few observations, good game Clemson (dripping with sarcasm).

Healthy receivers and very few passes, pass 10 yards tell me this folks 3rd and 14 to go for a 1st and you do a dump out pass to the side I never saw this great offense mind at work and sorry Dabo I love ya and support ya but if Cade can't hold it together better than that you need to take him out and put in Trent maybe it'll light a fire under him.

The very picture attached to this article shows ZERO "improvement" plain as day.

A. Randall, a former "5star WR" does not use his dadgum HANDS to catch the ball! If he puts his hands up and snatches it (ala Sammy, Nuk, Mike W., HR13, Tee....) that is probably a catch! But instead, this 3yr "system" guy would rather catch against his body.

Go Tigers!!!

EXCUSES, EXCUSES Its been 8 months plus and this Team AIN'T ready to PLAY!! Dabo says he takes ownership? ###
GEORGIA was ready to play, they were up to the task, even their QB Carson Beck said they saw what Clemson's defense was doing and made adjustments at halftime. I can see the DOGS WR's in the locker room laughing and telling Smart, hey Coach they cant cover me man, throw the ball to me, I can beat him, LOL and then the RB's saying keep giving me the rock Coach, they cant tackle me, they're gettn' weak!! LOL
Dabo and the entire coaching staff couldn't call a time out or 2 and make 2nd half adjustments.

same ole' same ole' from the offense , and now the defense has lost a step also, Clemson will never see a CFP Trophy at this pace operating from a 10 year old playbook!! WE need talented BEEF on the O and D line. PORTAL' ??

Tooooo Mannnnny EXCUSES.. every time they face a real Team!! This is EMBARRASSING to watch Clemson self destruct!! I may put my money on APP State this weekend.
