Imho TP needs more snaps. The more he and Covil play this season, the more they'll be ready next season. Play the young guns Dabo.

Agree with you, but for another reason.

T.Pride looks as good already as S.Jones (who, in his own right, is quite good). TP has shown that he is effective on both the smaller, quicker receivers and the tall guys like Jamel Banks. That allows him to take reps and give more rest to N.Wiggins and S.Jones. TP is more developed at this point than J.Lukas. TP should substitute some for Wiggins, who will probably not be at his best during the next two games due to recovering from the injury and a bit of loss in physical conditioning. Only upside for the defense if TP plays a lot more.

S.Covill isn’t quite the player yet that Mickens and J.Phillips are, but he’s good enough to give the older guys some more rest. Everyone plays better when they are not gassed. For whatever minor aspects (as of this point in time) where Covill isn’t quite as good as his older S teammates, the entire output from our safety position will be better if Covill plays more.

Toriano has played very well. It is hard to get any rhythm if you are not getting consistent snaps. When he does get a high snap count he is one of our better cornerbacks on the field. Per PFF he was our highest rated cornerback this past week. I will always route for TP23 because he is a very nice young man that comes from a great family but is also one heck of a good football player.
