that was as close to a "lockdown" as we've ever had here was #43, Terry Kinard. Booth is as good as any in modern times. Mac Alexander was good as well, but he seemed to bring a just little bit of "diva" along for the ride. Booth is just tough as nails nasty.

We had the pleasure of sitting right behind Andrew Booth Sr. at the UGA game. There’s no doubt in my mind that he is a strong influence on his son and it’s a positive one! After meeting him in Charlotte he usually stops and speaks to us on the way to his seats in DV like he’s known us his whole life. Just seems like a great person. Booth has had a couple of issues in coverage this year but has been fantastic shutting down the screens and sweeps. Great tackler! I think he’s a much more aggressive hitter than Alexander and may be better in coverage than TK was in the 80’s. Maybe the best overall to play the position at Clemson.

He is the best Clemson cb I have seen off the top of my head, but I have only been watching since the mid 90"s.

MA2 allowed 1 touchdown his entire career and it came because he slipped covering a WR against FSU. The ultimate case of if you're looking at just stats, you can't appreciate this player even remotely.
And this ain't no slouch at Booth either - I LOVE how Booth plays! AB23 is definitely in my tops for DBs I've got to watch play and can make a case for top overall.
It's been a real treat seeing the talent we've had at DB for many years.

tackling machine. I do agree he can get better in pass coverage. I want to say 2 of North Carolina State's touchdowns were against him. I think he will wind up being pretty good though.

I don’t know about you but I saw BC s receiver abuse him on that last drive and also in several games he has not looked good on pass coverage He does a great job of tackling in space Hope he improves and we get out best guy Goodrich back soon
