I'm a big fan of scalpers but now they will have my phone number after they text me the tickets. That could possibly lead to more tickets.
Some of the best seats I've ever had for games have been from scalpers, otherwise it's in the nose bleed.

I like the physical tickets, but I get it.
I really hope they go digital with parking. That would greatly improve the flexibility of moving those since they're cheaper than game tickets (usually) and they're not good keepsakes.

I cannot think how this would work. How will parking attendants know if you've parked in the right spot if you don't have a parking pass left in an unattended vehicle?

It's all set up for people to pay more $$$ in the end. Always will be. I get why they are doing it but it's no different than changing out the balloons. Getting rid of tradition every year. Might change tiger rag next year and not ask the fans what they think either.

Clemson is on a downhill slide just like the world. We get it for digital version but so many things more can happen. At least give people the option on either so make all happy!

baseball season tickets for the past two seasons.
My only question (and I have already called the ticket office) is how will they handle those who require elevator passes to the upper deck. I have two parents in their 80s (who already have their washable Clemson masks with activated carbon filters) and are planning to attend the games. They typically get elevator passes to get to the upper deck.
The ticket office stated they may know how that will be addressed in late July/early August.

My dad does not have a smart phone and will not get one. So if I don’t go to the game does that mean he can’t go? The account is in my name so going to the ticket office won’t help him either.

outside the stadium? This is major. On any given game, there are hundreds if not thousands of tickets exchanged - people needing, or people needing to sell them. It's a big market, of which I am always part of. And gets me in for a great price too.

I liked it back in the good ole days when we didn't have tickets at all......Give the guy at the gate a dollar and just sit whereever you wanted.
I also liked it when you just picked the phone up and told Mabel who you wanted to talk to.
And this thing about starters on your cars! Just another thing to break. Just grab the crank and give it a whirl. What could be easier?

how is this any safer? the gate scanners never handled physical tickets before, they just scanned them when we would hold them out, but now they have a higher chance of actually touching my phone which I put near my face?
mobile seems the way to go these days but not sure I'm buying that it is "safer"

No scanning. It will track everywhere you walk. Just walk up to the gate, And it will detect your valid ticket. Step into the X-ray tube when it opens, get scanned, then move on to the disinfecting booth for spray down. Easy.

Can also transferred to your friends and do the same thing as a mobile ticket ...your cell phone just have to make sure it stays charged which is a nuisance .
