I wish him the best. Effort & desire can pay big benefits at the returner & slot positions!

Not sure. This kid is currently #21 so not sure if he would want 13.

Yeah all I will say is if he ever sees the field we better be up by 80 (I originally typed 40 but changed it). I saw 100 average kids better than him last year who won’t be playing any college football.

Yop, but the other kids’ dads aren’t bosom buddies with Dabo.

Don't care how many stars he has, I still love to see when commits say things like this
“They started getting more in touch this year. It was always in the back of my head. I got some other offers, but I didn't really consider them. I had Samford offer me, but I was not interested. I was more interested in Clemson, coming to Clemson. I would have taken this offer over anything else.”

Good for him. Wishing him the best. But I’d really prefer to see a 6-4, lightning quick, strong handed, wide receiver join the ranks. Our current crop is an illustration in mediocrity.

Not sure what some of you are talking about! We got a couple of highly rated freshmen coming in and a couple of really good ones returning! Do some of you just like to complain or criticize all the time, no matter what!!??

Either this kid really flew under the radar or Clemson WR corps really sucks. A "0" star recruit ranking by the major recruiting services (espn, 24/7) and he feels he can come in and get playing time? I admire his confidence but really worried if the WR's on the roster are that bad or is he really that good, which would be a welcome surprise. The good thing is that a lot of questions will be answered on August 31st in the Georgia Dome.

I'm not hating, but highlight films are exactly that. I remember stuffing a really good Union RB first play of a playoff game. 2nd play he left cleat marks on my chest as he ran over me.... This kid may turn out, but hold the brakes before you trust highlights.

Sorry. Despite this comments it is unlikely he was being "overlooked". If you are in a recruiting hotbed area (like this kid) you don't get LESS looks from coaches you actually get MORE looks from college coaches. The other 2-star kid (Fuhlghum?)who just signed has better film. This feels like another Alabama charity case. I hope I am wrong, but I doubt I will be.

Does every PWO WR offer have to fit a "certain mold"? Guys like Jyron Waiters (Wilson HS) and Jayden McClintock (Westside HS) would run through a brick wall for a PWO offer from Clemson.

return specialist? whats that? you mean the guy who calls fair catch every time?

I can't remember the last return guy we had? Was it Justin Miller? I guess Ray Ray Mccloud did it until he dropped the ball on the goalline against Troy.

i guess i don't put him in that category.. for that matter you could say sammy

Watkins was a special teams specialist. I just think those two were the best player on the team thus were good at everything.
The best ever at it was Justin Miller. He was an okay CB but was a great punt and kick returner. Ray Ray was a good receiver but a decent threat at Punt Returns.
CJ was a great running back and a threat no matter where he played as well as Sammy but i'd put them at great RB and great WR before i'd say great special teams player. Semantics I guess but thats where my head is at.
