The first mailbag was that way. But decided to steal and reword this intro from another Clemson site that has been using it for close to 20 years.
We need to talk.
You've got questions, we've got answers or opinions.

Brownell will not be a serious candidate unless he takes us to the sweet 16 or beyond again this year.

Will Indiana still want Brad after we get knocked out in the first round?
If so, then we should take Clemson alum Will Wade. Would be an upgrade.

Brownell won't take the job at Indiana. I think he's definitely a candidate they would go after. If you read what a lot of the talking bball pundits like Jay billas etc, they speak highly on Brad being a great coach. He likes it here and imo, sees a path for Clemson to accomplish a lot of firsts.
Contrary to what some of the bball posters say, I don't think history has much to do with success. Indiana does have history but it's aged... kinda like a Nebraska in football. Saying, not a lot of firsts he could do at indy without being compared to someone. He also understands that job's a short leash.

Brownell would take that job in a second IF OFFERED. He would be insane not to.

Let me expand. If he wants a chance to win, recruit, and use NIL on the highest level he would take it. If he wants endless job security, obviously he would stay here.

As most always I can agree with you. I for one will not lose one minute of sleep worrying what Brownell will or will not do. I totally appreciate what he has done over the past two years, but there is 13 years that my mind isn't going to flush just bc Brad has had two of the best seasons at Clemson. Whatever Brad does I would just fine with, but if he goes hopefully Neff will want to hit the ball as hard as he did with the Erik Bakich hire...

Coach Brownell grew up and went to college in Indiana so chances are he was a Hoosiers fan. Historically, Indiana has been a top 5-10 program and kids in the state grow up shooting hoops. Unless Coach grew up a Purdue or Notre Dame fan, he would jump at the chance to lead Indiana on a comeback.

What about the employment status of acc basketball referees?

Several need to be fired at this point. Actually, the a-she she needs a clean slate when it comes to basketball officiating. When the opposing team is actually TRYING to foul our guy and it goes unnoticed by an official - there’s a severe problem.
Oh, and when are we leaving the aforementioned “conference”?
