Dabo sort of alluded to this yesterday in his presser. He mentioned that "yea, they know about it" - I took that to mean "yea, they know, they feel disrespected and they're pi55ed."
Maybe Trevor, Etienne & Co playing a full four quarters will wake up "the experts".. And it'd be crazy to assume Herbie hasn't spoken to his sons and gotten a barometer of what the scene in the locker room is like.
I like it. Prepare for 3 nasty games, replays will be relegated to P0rnhub..

The game will not be a blowout if Trevor and Etienne are playing in the 4th quarter.
The CFP committee know who we are. I expect that every player we take to Raleigh except for those that we are trying to red shirt will play. That is how we roll.

You are correct. Dabo and his staff are not going to change one thing with their system because of what people outside say, think or do. He’s stated several times that they do their own thing and control what they can control.

^^^Amen^^^^to the above!!! As much as it stirred me up when I heard about it, I've lived long enough to know you can't let anyone get you out of your focus and being who you really are!!! Deep in my gut, I FELT LIKE THIS WAS THE PERFECT GIFT to our Team. I truly believe they will be the most LASER FOCUSED, DETERMINED TEAM the college football world has ever seen!! Again, not to allow the anger emotions to get you out of sync, rhythm, or focus.
Moreover, they just played right into Dabo's hand!!! Go Tigers!!

Just remember he can only take 72 players to the game so some that are looking to redshirt will not be traveling with the team. Kirk's sons for instance will not be at the game unless daddy pays their way. But I'll take our 72 against any other 60 any day of the week and twice on Saturday. 72 players that have played a lot of football so far this year. I expect no real drop off from starters to finishers this week. They are going to be out to destroy something and NCST happens to be in line. Wake next week. It's kind of unfair that after next week Wake will be out of the rankings because of how they are going to get dismantled.

Dabo is not going to keep the starters in to run up the score, but he is not going to tell the reserves to take it easy on them either. I expect to see the spread keep growing in the second half with, Lawrence and Etienne on the bench.

Absolutely, and I would also like to add, and I could be wrong, but I don't think that Dabo and Doeren are best of friends. I mean Doeren has made some comments in the past that some may think that he was accusing the Clemson coaching of not being honorable, and if true, I'm sure that didn't go over very well with Dabo knowing how defensive he will get when he feels someone is speaking ill of his players or coaches. Dabo and Dave Doeren, and I'm guessing they're not on each others list to wish a happy Birthday to one another. If this is the case, maybe we will see the starters stay in a little longer if we are well ahead in points at the half. On a serious side, I hope that Doeren and Muschamp are two of Dabo's not very well liked people, and we can put up 70 points on both of those clowns!!!

Keep in mind, you are quoting "averages." Clemson has held each and every team to under 300 yds! That's something only done by one previous team (Alabama).

Bingo, believe Herbstreit has hit the nail on the head! Feeling sorry for the Pack and the Deacs, not so much for the Coots!!! Sad to think the recipe to respect is blowing the doors off your competition! Our stats are strong, our D is very strong as is our O, and their only playing 2.5 quarters if that!!!! It hit the fan, statement time, leave no doubt!!!

Dabo loves mixing his sports metaphors.
In this case, i think of him in riding Palace Malice (or another great horse) in the 1.5 mile Belmont Stakes. He always wants to hold the horse back until it's "Go Time". Then he gives the stallion his head, holds on for dear life and hopes the horse didn't Go too early.
With the best horses, he doesn't ever use the whip; with some he uses it; with most, he uses it once, but thereafter relies on showing it, because the threat alone is motivation.
I truly believe that when Dabo's career is done he will be able to look back at each championship team and remember how each responded to pressure during the championship run.
Last year's Bama team is a perfect example of a stallion that 'went' too early.
