Embarrassing. Play Calling, effort, time management, discipline, and even the fans throwing water bottles……..embarrassing is the only word.

Yep. We crapped the bed. Goodwin special. Dabo special. Tough questions need to be answered.

From this point and from what we saw tonight, I see 4 losses in the regular season bc we still have to face Pitt and the coots. The way they played tonight the Citadel may beat us...

Are we spoiled? Is this what should expect now?

I’m torn. Obviously, pissed at this game effort. Was this just a bad game , aberration? I hate to say it, but it really feels more like Tommy Bowden days. Some big wins on weak teams, some head pounding losses. To me, this is a worse loss than GA. Really, one of the worst I can remember. My mind brings up Va Tech in ‘98. It was a shocker that began the end of West. I’m not suggesting Dabo get fired, at all. But come on… night in the Valley, ACC, playoff, two weeks to prepare, Louisville not a good D…and this is what we get? Almost skipped my son’s band performance to make sure I saw the beginning of the game . Whew..

Football is a hobby, nothing else. I'm sure you're being hyperbolic, but any parent who considers skipping their child's hobbies for a hobby is a bad parent.

I won’t call him a bad parent but he definitely needs to reconsider his priorities. Geez.

acc hopes are probably gashed too. This team has no clue unless we 'over talent' someone. This developmental program is obviously not developing.

450 yard to Louisville 366. But the game was never close.. somebody is going to get at butt chewing on special teams!! Also allowed a punt return for a touchdown because the block in the back was away from the play or the CU player would not have touched him!

Too much emotion in this article and on this board tonight. I agree effort seemed lacking in several aspects especially the OL on the FG team. Too many dropped passes, especially by #9 & #0. Gap integrity was awful but you cannot convince me that the cut blocks didn't mess up the DL and their confidence. Especially after losing P.Woods and D.Capehardt. Crazy though out played in every category is a bit much:
Pass Yds- L=156 C=228 Rush Yds- L=210 C=222 Tot Yds- L=366 C=450
2nd time in Clemson History they run/pass over 200 each and lose by dbl digits! Clock management was atrocious, should have been up tempo whole 2nd half down by 10. That is my biggest coaching gripe. Oh and for what it's worth major calls went against the paw in this one! PI, Onside Kick, ect. Those 2 led directly to 14 points, be interesting to see the results if they were different. I think this team will bounce back from this and who knows with some luck may end up in the ACC Championship game anyway! God Willing!

I have to agree. It was bad, but the sky isn't falling. Cade was off by milliseconds. It was a lot of,little things. But it was bad. We can recover. Have faith. We will, overcome.

Nothing good to say here. The plsyers and coaches had no interest in winning, twice not going fot 2 points when Dabo could have made a point to not quit. Their defense that gave up 50 to Miami looked like the Chicago Bears against us An hour defense looked like it has all year, high school at best. We showed clearly that we are still not a contender. We need an defensive coach that can teach and motivate, and players that want to win. No one in orange looked like they had any interest in winning tonight.
