I have heard a lot of derision from people here regarding Randall playing RB, particularly in the beginning of the season, the most common phrase was "we have a WR trying to play RB". I think the truth of the matter is that we had a RB who was playing WR.

Adam stuck it out and he may not be Etienne, but he certainly is a capable RB. I'm glad we have him.

Off topic - Dang I really want one of those hoodies he has on.

I agree. Good post, in my view. Who knows, he may earn a spot on an NFL team and continue to develop without 4 years of taking a beating in college.

What a great story. Kudos to that Young man. This young man will do great things in his life, if he continues with this mindset.

a draft spot. He and Wesco have been the one true highlight on offense this year. I think Betancur could be another if he got more opportunities.

He's done a great job this season. Makes me wish they'd made the move earlier. Imagine what kind of back he'd be if this was his 2nd full season at the position.

Yes!! He is just scratching the surface but looking at the cuts and suddeness he ran with against Louisville, I think the light has came on. It's certainly a bummer he can't run behind Parks and Jacobs the rest of the year.

Great team guy. He could have gone somewhere else to play WR, but chose to stay here and take the risk of changing positions to help his team. Glad it has worked out for him. He deserves it.

Perseverance. Don't see that as much today. Just thankful that he believed in his coach as much as he did himself. Thanks for your contributions to Tiger Football. Finish strong. Run through, around, and over a bunch of coots on your way to the team bus on November 29th about 4pm and best of luck in the next chapter of your life. Thanks for a job well done Mr. Randall!! Go Tigers!!!!!

Adam is a great young man. I had a conversations with him 2 yrs ago when I was coaching at Dabo's football camp in June. He asked me how it was when I played football at Clemson back in the early 80's. I asked him why did he want to know. He said that he liked to talk to the older football players and hear the stories of how it was back in the old days of football. My time on the team was limited back in the 80's but I found it very heart warming that a young kid of his age liked to hear about how us old guys played the game without all the resources they have today.

And to add on to a previous discussion on this thread about how a wide receiver could play running back. A wide receiver is not normally 6'2" and 230 lbs (as advertised in Clemson documentation) of solid muscle. For the record, I'm 6'3" and 235 lbs and I felt a little short next to Adam! He's built like Derrick Henry minus a couple pounds.

All of this begs the question, If you have so much confidence in him, why are you running trick plays with a defensive lineman at running back, two plays in a row from the one yard line against Louisville? Don't be stupid. We're not playing a backyard pickup game. If you believe in him, give him the #### ball.
