How did Clemson pry 5-star DE Myles Murphy away from Georgia?
Five-star defensive end Myles Murphy comes from a family of Georgia Bulldogs, and he goes to school in Powder Springs, a little over 75 miles from Georgia’s Athens campus. The Bulldogs were also Murphy’s first offer, and because he grew up in the heart of Dawg country, many assumed Murphy would choose to attend Georgia. Full Story » |

His mother is a very smart lady. I wish more kids and their parents thought like this. Because of their athletic ability these young men get the chance at a very valuable education. Too many of them blow it, don’t crack the NFL (or for long) and end up with nothing.

the right choice. Clemson has been putting out great Engineers since its founding. Seems the coaching staff hit it out of the park again by recruiting not only a great player with character but a great family as well.

To bad that Zack Bailey parents couldn't see past being a coot fan!!! Things might have been a lot different for him, and at least he would've had a NC ring with great team mates and coaches that didn't get drunk everyday and breathing their alcohol breath on their players!!!

Weren’t so cordial or have that kind of relationship with the coaches at other places he was pushed toward.
