Actually was a pretty good game from the perspective of a pure bball game. Anyway, I kinda believe this might be the best thing that could happen to us... no, losses are never good. But I honestly think this will take some pressure off the dook game. All the pressure is on them.
We're going in like ga tech tonight, play loose and fork the 😈 we did it to Kentucky, we can beat any team on any given night. Go Tigers.

That was one of the worst officiated 1 sided games I've seen in a while. Make believe fouls on Victor. Chase got called for a foul and he was 3 feet away from the guy...and at the end of the 3rd overtime, Chase was takled by tatoo man!. That guy played at least 10+ minutes with 4 fouls. Victor lasted 9 seconds with 4 fouls. He ,tatoo man, committed about 4 more but they never called them. I often hear crap about how officials don't make calls if it'll change the outcome of the game. Well, if you don't call them-it effects the outcome of the game!It does make you wonder about the Duke game.

Personally I disagree. Yes a loss “can” spur a lazy winning team into a more passionate winning team but in my opinion…winners win…great coaches are able to motivate talented players to find their own motivations to excel and not rely on poor play/loss to do that.

Look, after a big win at NC State and before the Duke game, last night was always going to be a tough game. As far as "high level" play by Chase and George, not so fast my friend. Yes, they both scored 28 points but their shooting percentages were not great and they had too many turnovers. The game should have been easy because Tech could throw it in Lake Hartwell from the line but they dominated the boards to make up for it. We made mistakes we have not been making and just looked a half a step slow in the defensive struggle. Now it is Flagg and Duke and the hangover from last night has to be a short one.

As much as a close lose like this stings; especially when they had their fair share of chances to seal a win, if I take a step back and imagine someone asking me in November if I'd be happy w/ a 10-2 ACC record to stat off with, I'd take that in a heartbeat.
Hopefully they got that out of their system and they are able to execute better this Saturday. Its a home game and I do believe we have a chance, but there is little margin for error.

We had the final shot at regular time, first and second overtime...and had horrible shots on all three! They have got to learn to get to the rim and make a decent shot to win the game. GT had two times to tie up the game and got layups both times. I love the tigers and hope they can pull off a great end of the season! Go tigers!

I was a bit miffed on that too because chase usually drives the lane and gets fouled or hits the lane floater. Believe he did that once and unfortunately lost his balance and turned it over.
In his defense though, he got a great look and he was feeling that shot all night.
