Cirminiello may know a lot about Clemson but if he talks about Ship without mention our other stud backs, does he really know what he’s talking about? He may but I expect a lot out of all 3 of our guys.

Oddly, we’ll hear what a great conference we’re in and how fortunate we are to be a part of it (what else can they say) - at the same time, the best teams are trying to squirm their way off a sinking ship.

Poor Man's Jawga? Chile please!

More like they were a poor man's Clemson last year. They finally have a bit of success and suddenly they are THE measuring stick? So real talk; since 2014 CU has not been outside of the top 10 nationally, more often top 5 with a couple #1 finishes. Now I'm not bashing Georgia, really not, they have been a really good defensive team under Kirby, but stats don't lie. We ended up with an overall #2 by most services last year whilst plugging in #2 and 3 guys. These kids were not tomato cans, but young back ups that now have gotten a lot more experience (all while getting little offensive help/rest). This experience will only help going forward. Sorry for the long post but that "Poor Mans" just rubbed me wrong. It's as if the SEC SEC invented everything, even defense.

Jarhead- You are 1000% right! It’s so funny that Kirby and UGA are like 1a next to Bama now. I can remember just 2 years ago them losing to SC at home?? (not mention other “Georgianing” moments that the media brush off). Go 6 straight to the CFP, play in 4 nattys, win 2, then start putting them on a pedestal. UGA’s been anointed way before the crown has even been molded….

Cirminiello he didn't see any changes in DJ but he did look OK in spring and that he didn't make any great strides from last year which he was horrible. Now we got Klubnik he can run and throw, maybe we can make it to some Championship games. We had two freshmen who led us to two nattys.

Is he saying we didn’t spend money on our defense but UGA did? ‘Poor man’s UGA’s 2021 defense” com’on our defense will be better than the ole dogs last year. Remember it was 10-3 and our offense gave them the only TD. If Trevor had come back for his senior season we would have won that game easily.
Choked for 40 years before last season & they will choke this season too. Hopefully our offense becomes lethal for 2023 because we are going to lose a lot of DL guys but we still will be pretty good with Weslichek!
I hope our offense stays health and have been working to prove the word wrong. We have plenty of talent on offense too if we stay healthy.
This could be our best season ever if our offense improves greatly. We will be able to run the clock with our OL & RB’s depending on our run game if our passing game isn’t clicking.
We could have the best running combo’s since Danny Ford’s ‘89 team.

This season IS ALL about QB play. Everything else is top level. IF DJ doesn’t get the job done it will be a good season but not a great season. I especially want the Tigers to be great because a lot of “fans “ think Coach V’s departure will destroy the Tigers. Clemson football is a lot more than one player or one assistant coach. Show em’ Dabo!
