Yeah these are things coaches say when there are so many bad things happening they don’t know where to start. Hard to believe you get in September and find that out. Honestly would have preferred he stood up there after the game and said “We got A LOT of problems. That’s pretty obvious.” Hoping guys fragile confidence doesn’t get broken is not a plan for winning going forward.

I don’t care where Lawson has put in weight.
He hasn’t lost any speed and is tougher to block.
He also tackles a bit better than one of the starting DEs not named Will Heldt. Or at least so through 4 games this year.
Are there any other boys in the Lawson family that are aspiring FB players?

Jahiems brother is Shaq Lawson. He is the youngest brother in the family. I am sure Shaq has had a big influence on Jahiem. Go Tigers. By the way he is another Daniel High School recruit that so many fans on here criticize Dabo for recruiting. It is ridiculous. We have had many very good football players from Daniel. Remember DeAndre Hopkins?

Dabo no longer knows what a good practice looks like. He has turned us into the softest bunch in the ACC. UNC is going line up and be physical and we are probably the worst team they have played all year . We are battling for the cellar of the ACC. Let that sink in for a minute

Hopefully the players and coaches have extracted their heads out of their buts - and we blow out UNC. If more of the same, the sad reality will be the players have quit ..if the case, play the players that will play, and bench the quitters, regardless of their NIL status …

NIL should have some performance clauses in it---just like the NFL. Some of these guys want the $$, but they don't want to work for it.......that's a problem.

Is there any conflict going on with actual NIL payment stipulations that require players to play (in contracts with companies trying to benefit from the actual NIL)? I realize it’s not helping their advertising when they play like this, but even worse if they get benched, right? Seems like a “car no go” situation…
