It really isn't rhetorical or sarcastic when you look at Pitt, they're not as bad of a team as some may want to believe they are, neither is GT when you look at how they competed against UGA, and neither is Syracuse when you look at their record and who they have beat makes them look capable of playing with most of the teams that will be in the playoffs. Just saying that the ACC FB strength is better this season than it has been in the past...

Sad part about rankings…..they immediately paint team in a negative light if you’re not in the top 25. I get that we needs away to separate teams, but to say Miami is sucks because they loss to Cuse is saying Cuse is no good…..that clearly isn’t the case. Cuse is a solid team, but because they’re not in the rankings miami is not worthy of a playoff spot….Dumb.

Do you really think Miami is deserving of a playoff spot? Have you watched them play? I have. First, they lost to va tech. Their defense is as bad as the old pac12 defense teams. Cristobal is perhaps the worst coach in football.
Miami should have dropped out the top 10 after the ga tech loss. They have no signature win... and yes, fla was horrible until he played lagway.
Cuse had a decent year by their standards. ACC should get one team in. And whichever team should be the last one in. That's not an opinion, that's facts. The entire acc has zero ranked ooc wins.

I think he meant that VA Tech beat Miami on the field, but that the referees overturned VA Tech’s winning TD catch, so therefore VA Tech lost to the referees and Miami’s loss was averted by the referees.

Bama also gave up 40 points in their loss to Vandy. We’re ~ 3 TD favorites entering the game.
I think I’ve got this right … Bama has one (1) win against a top 25 opponent.

They did not lose to VA Tech.
Multiple times they could have lost but did not.
My thought is yeah maybe Some ACC teams are not great but I have watched many SEC teams and they are not great either

Thats because our league is so tough, we beat ourselves up so bad that we can't easily win OOC games. #### Clemson beat itself up over the summer bad enough to lose to GA before ever playing an ACC game. That's tough competition. Just the thought of playing the upcoming ACC schedule was so daunting that we couldn't beat GA. Just too tired...
just win Saturday. i dont care how we get in. GO TIGERS!!!

Clemson SMU yes not Miami they should have 3 additional loses. ACC refs have given them 3 games cause they picked them to win ACC. They turned on FSU and Clemson 2024 aince trying to jump from ACC

Miami was given their win over VA Tech; I don’t remember the details of their other two near-miss wins.
I can say that Cristobal does ‘less with more’ than any other coach in the ACC not named Mack Brown.
That said, a 2 loss Miami deserves to be in CFP more than a 3 loss Bama and a 3 loss Ole Miss.
