Who thinks Brice was "unsung hero"? I think everyone recognizes that his play late in the Syracuse game saved our season, and his ballsy throw on 4th and 6 was exactly what we needed to get over the hump.

His heroic efforts have definitely been “sung” quite a bit, but it is well deserved.

I don't think best backup QB in the ACC is accurate. Who would you take at Clemson as backup QB considering all starters in the ACC.
In my opinion CB is the best QB in the ACC not named TL. The only names that comes to mind to challenge would be the Hartman kid from WF or kid from UVA.
CB is easy top 3 or 4 QBs in the ACC period.

I will say this and feel very comfortable saying it. Take CB and let him rep the same as a starting QB in fall practice, and I say that he would be as good and better than most QB'S in the ACC. He is a very tough duel threat QB with pretty accurate passing ability with pretty good speed as a runner that will not shy away from who ever is in his way from the opposing defense. Coming after CB in a running situation, and the defender stands as much of a chance of being injured as Chase does, and with defenders knowing that about CB, they just don't try and put THE HIT on him bc they know that he hits back. I'm very happy that CB stuck with us bc, I believe he could have been a started at about most power 5 schools!!!

Honestly, I am more confident with TL than I would be with BB starting, but its good to know it really doesn't matter

I'm really interested in seeing all of these guys play. I wish there were more snaps to go around. Can't wait.

I think TL could be sitting out some 4th quarters this season if the defense isn't too porous. CB will get plenty of time (for a backup). Phommachanh might get a few series.

In todays scenarios . . you worry about how long you keep a QB on the bench. Too easy to jump ship.

I fully expect Chase Brice to jump ship after the season. If he truly believes he has a chance to succeed in the NFL, it may be the best move for his career.
DJ is expected to sign in December and enroll early. If he shows enough promise in practice next spring, Chase would be crazy to stay.
