Do you know when Military Appreciation Day will take place. Since Louisville is closest to Veterans Day thinking it could be then, but The Citadel is a military school maybe that weekend.

My guess would be against the Citadel.***

Don't they normally do Senior Day the home game before the coots when we are playing the coots at home?

Will Dabo have his Dudes ready to go on Day 1?

Because last year, they were decidedly NOT prepared to start the season! My first Clemson game ever attending was the 2003 home opener against Georgia; I do NOT want to see a repeat of that debacle! Get ‘em ready to play, Dabo! A win on Day 1 would set us up for a really amazing season! Excited to see how it plays out! Go Tigers!!

Maybe, but does it matter?

Maybe they (like all other teams) won't be at their best in week 1.

Problem is that doesn't matter.

We play an out-of-conference Georgia team. We can literally afford to lose to them & still entirely control our own destiny to an ACC title, which is now basically a rule for getting into the playoff starting this year.

It's called house money. I'd love to see a win over Georgia but that's a tall order outright regardless.

Is this a schedule that gets Tigers a shot at a national championship and attracts the players who might get you there in the future?

Yes, but need to take care of business in game 1!!!

Love the rivalry against GA but these should be played home/away. So much more revelry than ATL dome or CLT.

Somehow the games always get set up so it’s a ugay home game, which is what it will be like in Atlanta.

I dunno

1. We don't need to beat Georgia to control our own destiny in the new playoff, straight up.

2. Being week 1 means even if it's a loss it's still our most favorable date for a loss & consequently puts extra pressure on the team (i.e., a hidden advantage even in a loss rather than a worst-case scenario).

3. The ACC is a blessing for us, while the SEC is a curse for them when it comes to controlling our own destiny.

4. Atlanta is the only place Georgia has lost in the last few years & it's not like it's that far from Clemson (Charlotte is farther than Atlanta) & it's a benefit for many players. It's a good excuse for us to see the College Football Hall of Fame while there too (it's next door) & we have a lot of fans in Atlanta.

5. See #1

6. Go Tigers!

All we have to do is win the ACC though

Win the ACC & you're in.

We have more advantages from a pure schedule standpoint than anyone else in the league & more talent than even FSU.

It's ours for the taking, & now there's a rule for it, so yes, the schedule gives Clemson the ability to control its own destiny to the national championship, absolutely.

I'll be stoked with a UGA win to start the season

But if not let's hope we can at least score more than 3 and not give up a bone headed pick6. That's all I ask.

Is Louisville the new white meat?***

You know when someone in the sports media has a lot of time on their hands with not much to do to soak it up when they will throw out 20 years of stat history at you!!!

I just want someone to love me as much as the ACC loves Clemson!

This is fantastic news.

First, Clemson is the only team in the ACC with an all-Saturday schedule (again).

We are the only ACC team to face zero bye-week opponents (again). To-date, we are the only team in D1 football for 2024 to have no opponents coming off a bye, further extending the incredible streak over the past decade that is not likely to ever come close to being beaten.

Only four (!) road games, & finally, no Notre Dame!

The ACC loves us, & I love them for it. The league is again ours for the taking, make no mistake. Go Tigers!

Clemson has 73 wins against coots.
