I know it’s just a small sample size, and there were people out, etc…Pearman was the best QB on the field. He got the ball out super fast. He has great ability with his legs. He was incredibly calm and communicative with other players and coaches. And most importantly, the rest of the offense elevated its play when he was in the game, people I didn’t even know about. Klubnik will start, no doubt. But if he really struggles I feel confident in who’s behind him

It’s a little disheartening to hear Cade is still the best qb we have. I’m hoping he has improved from last season

I don’t think he is the best we have. Some guys have it or they don’t. He doesn’t, or at least not at a level that’ll make us a CFP contender. Pearman looked better than he ever has. But Klubnik will be the starter. Remember, Dabo started Cole Strout over Deshaun Watson and Kelly Bryant over Trevor Lawrence

And how many Natties did we win during those years? Clearly Dabo has no idea what he's doing and needs help from the keyboard warriors.

So, over 400 yards total passing and 32 points of offense today. Are things starting to click on offense. Haven’t seen any rushing numbers from today yet. When all starters come together we may see an improvement coming. Go Tigers

We won’t see any great improvements on offense with Cade at qb, imho

I just don’t get “Cade will still be starter” mentality. Best QB should play - period. This looks to be turning into the DJ-Cade situation all over again unfortunately.

I totally think Cade SHOULD NOT start. I’m just saying what Dabo will do based on his history.

There's more than just a few plays in the Spring Game, that go into the evaluation on a starter.
I trust Dabo, and the entire coaching staff, to put the best 22 on the field.

You must be new to Clemson football. Dabo did not put the best QB on the field when Watson and Lawrence were freshman. He goes with the veteran guy

It’s too bad Sammy Brown can’t play both ways. He could be a dominating LB and then stay out with the offense and be a John Riggins type of RB. He might even be a little faster than Riggins who ran something like a 9.7 100 yard dash back in his day.

I think Sammy is faster than our wide receivers in the 100m?

I had no clue Riggins was that fast! It seems Sammy has about the same wheels. Sammy ran a 10.7 100m in high school. Here’s how that converts:
10.7 for 100m converts to...
40 Yard Dash = 04.46 100y = 09.78 110y = 10.76 40y Dash Pace = 03.91

Defense looks good, but the offense continues to struggle. Not impressed with Cade at all. Did not see any improvement, decision making still questionable, could have easily had one or two more interceptions. I hope the O-line can provide us with a running game. Not great when the third string QB was the best QB on the field for both sides.

Cade is a bust…. Dabo wanted us to show up and watch, well we did and that’s my take!! Bummed we’re gonna have to watch it as it happens again…. Pearman is our best chance to save the season for all our other players and recruits

I see a meeting of the Secretaries real soon to vote Pearman in as starting QB.
