Oregon Sitting Nicely!

I know Georgia is 4 and Bama 5. But, Oregon just might get in. Why? Oregon if they keep winning will play in a championship game. Alabama won't. Georgia I think will lose to LSU and be out. They shouldn't be ranked 4th in all honesty: "not after losing to an unranked non-bowl eligible team at home"! At least when we lost to Pitt they went to a bowl game and in fact, won 8 games!
Everyone knows #1 and #4 are on a collision course right? I don't see anyway Georgia beats LSU; unless Burrow gets hurt.
Once LSU has won - who will Alabama have beaten? The only ranked team they played they lost to. Oregon already has and will have a stronger resume. One of Alabama's signature wins will be Auburn - which - ding - ding - ding - is also the team Oregon lost to on a neutral field - not at home! They also in fact, "controlled the game except for the final 20 seconds"! The committee will go with that as Oregon will be Pac 12 champs!

Alabama needs a lot of help. But they could still conceivably sneak in with a rash of upsets. They are still technically alive and u the hunt, but they need some epic collapses by more than a couple of teams in order to do so.

They don't need the epic circumstances that other teams would have to answer to had a loss happened to them. Look at ugay. Talk about an epic loss? It gets no more epic than that, and yet, the pundits are doing everything in their power to let it slide.

Yes, and once again, they will have an extra week of rest to recoup their strength, to heal up any injuries and give themselves a break, while the rest of us are still in the grind of having to prepare and play a game. Why did I expect anything any different?

Publicity and hype helps keep ugay in the equation. Time will tell whether they really are worthy, but losing to the losers in Cola speaks volumes, and their "quality wins" are yet to be determined, as well. As long as a network owns a conference, question marks as to validity will exist. Don't really know about "Quality Wins", but I danged sure know about horrible losses, and it gets no worse than to the biddies. Total disqualification evidence, IMO.

We should have never lost the #1 spot only bc we haven't been beat since the very start of the 2018 season, and that has been 24 games ago, and we don't control our schedule, we only play and beat who somebody else lined up for us!!!

Maybe I misread this but we weren’t ranked outside the top 5 last week. Did it mean to say, Top 4?
“The Tigers seek to be only the second team ranked outside the top-5 in the first CFP ranking has gone on to win the national championship (Ohio State in 2014, No. 16).“

Idk how many of y’all watched the full show but is it just me or did PJ Fleck sound like a Dabo clone. He mentioned one game at a time and every week looking to be 1-0. He said he told his team everybody love each other. He said he tells his team to focus on being good individuals on and off the field, in the classroom and their faith. I’m really surprised he didn’t say Minnesota was hitching a ride on the Roy bus lol

Being #3 and feeling disrespected. I mean, couldn't they have put us at #2 so Dabo could drive the ROY bus?

And Bama in 3 weeks. Slamming the door on Bama’s playoff hopes. What would really be good but don’t see it happening is TAMU beating LSU then a 2 loss Georgia beating LSU. This would put everyone in the SECheat with at least 2 losses.

I think this ranking is exactly right...certainly not last week's. Based on the ACC record this season, Clemson should be #3. The bad news is that, in contrast with previous years, they can't lose a game. This reality wasn't helped by Wake and South Carolina losing this weekend.
The good news is I don't see Clemson losing any of their last three games. The biggest risk is going to Columbia, in case the team that somehow won at Georgia shows up. However, the trends of these two teams don't indicate a realistic upset opportunity.
Clemson's probably in. I hope Alabama gets locked out. They are definitely among the top four most talented teams. I'd rather play somebody else.

The final ranking will have Clemson at 1.
I predict chaos in the B10. Michigan or PSU beats the Oh St pretenders (who the heck have they played??? - Wisconsin??? Give me a break) lose to either PSU or Khaki Pants. Minnesota loses in championship game regardless (or before).
I predict LSU loses to UGA in SEC champ. UGA cannot beat Bama (they are like our USuCk) but I think they can beat LSU. Bama’s secondary is still awful (anybody else see that?). But UGA’s is pretty good. They will have to put a rush on Burrow and Jake will have to have a great game.
Secretly I want UGA and us in the Natty. While I hate UGA (only team that I have a hard time pulling for against Carolina), when I was a young pup, that was the best rivalry for us when we played them every year. I wish we still did.
And then we go to Atlanta if we are #1. At least that is what I hope. I do NOT want to travel across country again. Been there, done that. If Oh St ends up #1, do you think they will choose Arizona or Atlanta?

Frankly, I wish they left Clemson at #5 and continued to discredit them about a weak ACC schedule which is a farce anyway, all but a matter of perception.
