I'm doing this post after only reading the first sentence bc I wanted to ask whoever else that has clicked on this article about the TE room believe they could be elite. When I clicked on the article with a bigger clearer picture of Briningstool and what I don't see from what's supposed to be our best TE. I don't see much definition in his arms like an athlete that has been doing weight training to make himself physically stronger for the up coming season.

I mean his arms actually look small for a guy that most of his targets are most likely going to be against defenders that is going to challenge him hard for the same ball that he's wanting to win possession of where upper body and arm strength usually wins that battle. So my question would be if I were talking to his coach, is it the players choice whether or not they work out to make themselves stronger bc Briningstool is listed as 6'6" and only 230 pounds when with his height I think he should be at least 260 pounds with 6'6" body type.

UGA and Bama has TE's that are 240-250, and Bama has 10 TE's that weigh more than Briningstool, just saying... I mean even our elite HS recruit that's going to be a true freshman in Christian Bentancur is 6'3" 236. I personally believe that if Briningstool wants to be an elite TE, he needs to put on some muscle weight. Most all NFL TE's are 250 plus pounds....

The official weigh in will be interesting for him as well as others. Too bad you don’t get weight room numbers from when a guy arrives until they mature. This would be interesting for all players as well as opponent players weight room stats. The strong survive as a rule.

LOL, that's exactly what I was thinking also to be honest, but I stayed away from that type of criticism bc saying things like that about a popular player on here can get your hands chopped off to prevent you from typing anything like that some other time;) ;) ;)

reports, but I’ve been drinking the orange & purple kool-ade the past two off-seasons and have been somewhat disappointed as to what transpired onto the field, especially at the start of the year.
Sooo, this off-season, I will still enjoy these stories but with a bit more of “guarded optimism”…..show me, don’t tell me….back up the talk, walk the walk…!!!!!!
But #### I think we’re gonna “rock it” this Season….Go Tigers!!!! 🏈🏈🏈

You couldn't have said it better. I'm kind of tired of all the talk about how good this player looks and how the offense or defense looks. Just stop all the talk and let the play on the field speak for itself. Especially on August 31st.

If he continues the momentum he had last season to this season we will have a Jordan Leggett type threat and I'm excited for that!!

All the rhetoric and potential means nothing

If the OC or whoever is calling the plays doesn’t call their position as an effective part of the game plan. Hopefully this is the year where the entire offense will get better balanced.

That's what I'm saying. If they are truly as good as I would think they could be, I want to see more plays with them targeted. When you watch the pros with solid TE's play, they are absolute back breakers for defenses. I'm thinking young gronk/Kelce/Kittle here. Granted the o-line needs to step up to give our TE's some time to run slower developing routes. I'm optimistic that we can get there. I'd love to see Brinny be one of our most trusted receivers this season.

get rid of that "chance to" part and just go BE elite.

but some point in the last 3 years, we oddly became a team that talked about the end result, instead of the process.

I hope, internally, the team is focused on the little things they need to work on each day, instead of talking about winning the national championship, going 15-0, winning the ACC or, in this case, being the best TE room in the country.

It's like the work to get there has been forgotten about.

TE group finished strong.

Agreed, if he can put on weight he’s gonna be a monster.

He was certainly less scared during EOY vs earlier in the season.

Had a lot of catchable balls that he lost due to weak hands.

I think he’s poised for a great year if he builds on what he finished with last year.

He will get a lot of targets.
