Wouldn’t be surprised to see App have a pretty good crowd on Saturday. They have a great fan base, it’s not very far from home, and a lot of Clemson season ticket holders tend to sell these early games for a variety of reasons ranging from the heat to the fact it is a non-conference game to being upset with the Clemson program and results.
I hope Clemson fans show up and give them the environment they are expecting. We’ll be there.

App fan here, I'll be attending with my two sons and nephew. My youngest has been a big Clemson fan since TL. We are looking forward to the Death Valley experience and hope to not catch too much crap from the fan base. Hopefully with one Tiger fan in our group we'll be good. One of the best experiences we had was at the Penn State game. Great college football experience along with the fan base.
Hopefully we give you guys a competitive game!

If you know anything about our base, then you know that Death Valley is the very last place in college FB that you will ever be hassled by our fan base. This isn't William Brice, it isn't Sanford Stadium, this isn't Bryant Denny Stadium, this isn't The Horseshoe for the OSU Buckeyes, and this isn't Doak Campbell Stadium at FSU. This is Death Valley at Clemson university, and don't let our stadium name give you the wrong opinion bc, the Tiger fan base is known all over the country as having the most respectful fans in all of college FB. If you and your family are being disrespected by anyone, a member of your own fan base or a Tiger fan, just let someone know and that problem will be taken care of with the quickness, I promise you that, Tiger nation do not tolerate being ugly to our opposing fans, never!!!

Contrary to the common narrative. Clemson fans are as welcoming as any place in America We don’t throw empty liquor bottles at opposing fans. Like UGA and SCjr. You’ll be offered food and drink.

They can practice at a higher pace because it’s so much cooler in comparison, if they go into a high heat high humidity situation it probably hurts them too.

App State is one of those schools that come in prepared for the challenge. Coach Clark had some nice things to say about our football team but don’t you think he doesn’t want to beat us. I am glad we are playing them at our house.

I have no doubts that App State will bring their best game.
Clemson will need to match or exceed the energy and put them in a hole early. Otherwise, it could be a much closer game than most would like.
We all want to win, but let us all be honest and say that we want our Tigers to take App State out by 20+ points.
