Well, it was obvious this SEC Team couldn’t defend it..

which was a bit surprising since they’d played & beaten some Big Boy Teams like Awburn & FL.

Injuries and inexperience among the running backs and o-line earlier in the year. And injuries to WRs later in the year made it almost a necessity.

Adapt and change is what good coaches and teams do. The story of our season is not the struggle, but about why we struggled and it was the unbelievable number of injuries we had. We simply were too inexperienced and too young to over the injuries. Thankfully, we got well before stretch run and our annual chicken kicking.

We may be seeing a shift back to traditional offensive attacks. Defenses over the years had to concentrate on stopping these spread, passing attack offenses and now are not built to stop a traditional running attack. Dare I say we might see the return of the fullback.

NOT the three yards, I had to endure while at Clemson in the sixties!

I am with you - Frank’s three yards and a cloud was tough to be enthusiastic about except in the end when we won! My roommate was a fullback and he didn’t even like it!

Look at TE and Dabo’s comments about the run game igniting the sideline and controlling the game. This is what UGA has been so successful at this year. This has been UGA’s game plan historically but this year it is working better than ever for them. We’ll see how Bama handles it Saturday…. College football evolves and teams are learning how to defend the spread up tempo offense that we used effectively over the last several years. Maybe time for a change.

Seems that we can do whatever as long as we execute.

Will be interesting to see our game plan for the bowl game and how it might change if we play a team that can stop the run. I really just want to see the drops and self inflicted penalties stopped. If we can do that the offense will produce
