TJ Moore catch

Looking at the replay, it seemed as if he had possession of the ball as he was falling. Not sure how that was not a catch and for that matter, not a PI by the Stanford DB.

We were shocked that was overturned. Clearly a catch

Ball hit the ground and moved a bit, it was not a catch. It sucks but it was not a catch.

He did not control the ball to the ground while in bounds. If he was in the middle of the field it would have been a catch because the ball never hit the ground. But he was on the sideline where when he lost control of the ball for a second he was out of bounds. Agree it was PI though.

True, but we got away with a few PI's too. Seems to be who you get as a ref, but overall imo, this year is closer to nfl catch and pi rules. (Overal)

He 100% caught and controlled the football. Problems was he landed out of bounds.
Should have been a D.P.I. called more than anything.

He did not have it secure when his knee went out of bounds..

Would've been a catch if he had remained in bounds

Ball moved when he hit the ground and he was OOB when he reestablished control.

You just have to understand, every game of every year, ACC officiating is the worst in the country and continues to decline every season. Did you see that bubble butt Referette blow that first PI call right in front of Dabo at the beginning of the game. I could read his lips when he said "Are you blind? Did you not see that? What are you looking at" How can you miss that?" and Miss Bubbles just sauntered away, unfazed, back to the DEI tent for a cold shower and find her coke bottle lenses in the bottom of her purse.

the ball moved IN his hands but, never, ever LEFT his hands. The ball was always secure.
Next play took the sting out of it though.

so it was the correct call but could have gone either way. what is egregious is the blatant missed holding/PI. that was insane

Since it was iffy, no idea why they didn't run to the line of scrimmage and snap the ball.
We've lost several reviews where if we'd made any effort to start the next play there wouldn't have been a review.

It was not a catch as he was juggling it was he slid out of bounds. Probably was pass interference but not nearly as bad as the first missed pass interference call on the goal line in the east end zone.

Very true! But, for clarification, "TJ Moore did catch the football" as it never touched the turf for a second. Had the catch been in the middle of the field that's a catch ALL day. The ball never hit the turf; but as you said, by the time he had firm control he was out of bounds.
