TJ Green/coaching staff evaluation

Everybody was all up in the air about why in the world we suddenly started recruiting TJ Green, a UAB commit and unranked recruit.

Now after he commits to Clemson ESPN evaluates him and it turns out he's a 4 star recruit, I think this just proves what most of us already knew, and that this coaching staff knows how to evaluate talent, and they're not using recruiting services to determine who to recruit.

He is a rivals 2 star. I hope he does well ,he played football here in my town but I think he will take some time to develop. Don't expect greatness right away.

Rivals doesn't matter. ESPN rankings have taken over.

All day NSD(and everyday), which rankings do you thing are spouted across the airwaves, shut your pie hole and stop complaining. Getting tired of whiners around here.

Not sure which ranking is correct but Rivals rankings this late in the game are skewed because of their process. They cannot rate a player in the top of their state ranking because they would have to redo their class/state rankings. They release the rankings 5 times a year to draw viewers instead of constantly updating based on knowledge of the players. That system limits them in their ability to evaluate players this late in the game.

The staff get paid to evaluate player/recruits.

Most of the time , people sitting behind keyboards have no clue what they are talking about , Most of them also have an agenda to start with, IE either a coot or disagreed with the HC hire to start with.
