Time to hire a REAL OC

I don’t want to hear about Dabo not having experience. Head coaches manage a program. They may have input on calls but they are not responsible for each down. Overall scheme. Dabo is a GREAT program head. Vision. Attitude. Culture. And I know we won 2 NCs. See below for why that doesn’t matter here.

But, Dabo has to start hiring legit OC not prior players at every level. I love the loyalty. That said, Coordinators have to be the best football minds. We’re hiring people for who they are not what they know. It’s beginning to show. We won in spite of Elliot and others with Deshaun then Trevor not bc of the coordinators

Saban has changed schemes multiple times and we refuse bc we won two championships. Prior success should not make you immune to current criticism.

This team is not set up for success. We can blame the OL, the qb, the WRs, etc. at the end of the day, a good coordinator accounts for variables. The fact La tech offense looks better against our defense that has players everywhere shows what a good scheme can do.

Streeter has to be replaced.
