Time For Some New Blood

Wilkins and Barker are a joke. They are living in the past and are too set in their ways to see it. It's time to dump Wilkins and Barker and get some new blood into the program. Other schools have the foresight to look ahead, not back. My God we have the players, the fans, the coach and the money, but we have fools running the ship.Time for new blood at the helm, and a new conference.

And what are your plans for dumping these two jokes?
You have been a member since' 01,and posted all of 11 subjects.
You open your mouth,then propose somethng concrete.
Like Wilkins,and Barker,or not,share your plans with us,or go away.

Unnecessary?
You open your mouth,probably have no clue as to how to go about getting rid of Wilkins,or Barker,offer no concrete plan(you know like a petition)and what you had to say was not important unless you offer a solution.

Wilkins and Barker have done a ton for the academic side of Clemson, and when it comes down to it the academics come first because this is a university. Some schools may not think that way but I'm a student here at Clemson and I'm here for an education. I live for Clemson football and haven't missed a game since I've been here but they have their priorities.

people in this state and probably the most powerful. He has been through more and accomplished more than you have lived long enough to even know. How old are you and what are your qualifications to condemn a man who could buy and sell you several times? I barely know him, but have dealt with enough to know what he can do.

I commend Wilkins for what he has done in the past, but we can not live in the past. Anyone who believes that Notre Dame will ever become part of ACC football or the ACC is a viable conference needs to step down.

So if you think that Wilkins and Barker need to go than start something;a petition,a letter to the board expressing your concerns with the way the university is running it's athletic department,a reduction in your IPTAY donations,or giving up seats on the 40 yd. line that have been in your family since the days of Frank Howard(can't really see that happen).
You want something done.Fine.But if you oen this can of worms than you had better be willing to start,or join in the effort to get that new blood.

I'm not qualified to pick a replacement for either, but I do know if we stay in the ACC, we will never get the respect that we all desire for the University. I made a statement how I feel, and I am entitled to my opinion. I lived in Anderson for 20 years and still have a house there so I understand the mentality of someone from Anderson, so it's not your fault at your crude remarks to me, nor your understanding of the situation. The ACC is nothing more than a basketball conference run by North Carolina officials. If you don't see or understand this, I feel sorry for you. My lack of posting does not disqualify me of my opinions.

First off just because I live in Anderson now does not mean I have lived here all my life.In fact I have lived here less than the 20 years you said you lived so my mentality has nothing to do with that.
Yes,you are entitled to your opinion,but if you are going to give one,then have the audacity to offer a solution.That's my opinion.And I do understand the situation,probably a lot more than you do.
And yes I know that the ACC is a basketball conference run by an UNC grad.Yet did you offer a solution for getting rid of Swofford?(I didn't think so). So no need to feel sorry for me.

As a two time Clemaon graduate and a life long fan who has been on this earth long enough to realize that most folks know their jobs better than I do (hint hint), I must say that I think Barker is doing a fantastic job. There actually MAY be more to his job than we know. Ya think?
