Coach Brownell said a couple of weeks ago said still waiting to announce two nonconference games. One of those was the VCU game in Charlotte but word is that VCU has moved on. I think that game is game is scheduled still in Charlotte the Friday night before the ACC Football Championship. Virginia has also scheduled an Atlantic 10 team that same night in Charlotte. There was also a rumors that UVA as a non conference game might be the opponent in Charlotte if either team can't find another team to play. Interesting thing is both Clemson and UVa both play on the road the Wednesday before in the ACC-SEC Challenge so I'm sure with just a one day turnaround they want to play someone who had a similar time frame.
Coach Brownell also said they found another power 5 team to play. Would think looking at the schedule that game will be at home. A possible date is Tuesday November the 17th right after Georgetown on the road, and right before Friday in the Charleston Classic. Possible teams that they might play who are still looking for a power 5 team home and home on the schedule are Baylor, Arkansas, and Northwestern. Will be interesting on how that will end up. Expect announcements on those two games by the end of the month. Also expect an interesting exhibition team scheduled since you can play two now. schedule so far:
