Yes we still need to keep winning. However, getting to conference championship is completely out of our hands until SMU or Da U lose.

If smu and Miami win out in the regular season, someone last week posted the tie breaker and we could be the odd team out. It's still a lot of football left to play by all the teams.

What do you mean? If those two teams finish undefeated they’ll play for the ACC Championship. In that case we have to hope we’ll get in at 11-1 if we handle business. Because I could see them putting BOTH of those teams in over an 11-1 Clemson if it’s a close game.

An 11-1 Clemson is getting in the playoff. If we made the ACC champ and lost we’d be left out.

Say if we are the odd team out in the three-way tiebreaker, then Miami loses to SMU in the ACC CG...Do you think the ACC gets three teams in the playoff?
I wouldn't bet on it! The committee would probably have no problem putting a two-loss SEC or Big 10 team in over a third ACC team, that didn't even make the conference championship game!
Never underestimate the SEC bias on that committee!
