Tiger Walk

Oct 11, 2023, 8:47 AM

Has anyone noticed that it seems like the whole team is not participating in Tiger Walk? Especially before FSU and WF it looked to me that fully 1/2 to 2/3 of the team did not
Walk. Am I wrong?

Here’s a video I found on Facebook of Tiger Walk before the FSU game…looks like (most) everyone to me. 🤷‍♂️

actually was at the tiger walk this past Sat for the Wake game. I think most everyone was there. There were 4 buses. I found the whole thing a little underwhelming. It's over in less than 10 min. There is no music or anything. It's literally they get off the bus and walk in.

These kinds of things have always been weird.
Just awkward cheering because some people are walking by.

It's much better than the team walking through a ghetto outdated parking lot.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

They could just pull up to the stadium and not have to walk through

Oct 12, 2023, 2:36 PM

a parking lot. Just more feeding some people’s egos.

Well if you’re going there…They could just stay in Clemson the night before, have the team report on their own early Saturday and not have to take any buses to the game at all.

Maybe we could just come up with all new traditions while we’re at it. Like the running down the hill thing…we should just run out of the tunnel. Wouldn’t want to feed any egos.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Is it really a tradition? When did it start? Also, everyone

Oct 12, 2023, 3:08 PM

does it.

It started with Dabo in 2008. 15 years.

So, not really.***

Depends. There’s an entire generation of Tiger fans that might disagree with you. My nephew is a freshman and as far as he’s concerned we’ve always had Tiger Walk. He was too young to remember a time before it started.

The band was playing the entire time in front of the stadium

Just a quick eyeballing... I counted roughly 110 players (coaches not included).

Now you know making a point using facts is against some unwritten TNet rule. Especially if someone wants to whine about some meaningless point and the facts refute their position.

They literally come straight off the bus from Anderson. Where would they go?
