Ticket prices and parking lot recs

The fam is coming back for our first home game in several years and I have a few questions. Recs for good grass lots to tailgate even if they aren't super close-we have two young boys 4 and 8 and this will be their first real game experience. Can we wait until closer to game day to buy tickets? Prices seem really high right now on the online marketplace locations but we've usually been gifted tickets or used family season tickets which we no longer have so I'm not sure what prices to expect in the post natty era. I don't want to over pay but also don't want to miss out on tickets. The game is homecoming vs Wake. Any advice is appreciated!

You were a member of a family that had Clemson Tiger FB season tickets, and this is your first day ever of signing in as member to TigerNet? And this is the only fan board of its kind for Tiger fans. Come on man, your first day, and first post should at least be truthful, or something closely resembling the truth!!!

My experience both buying and selling is homecoming games are always popular. If Wake starts hot, that will increase the demand. If you don't care where you sit, wait. Tickets will be available. If you want a good seat, buy it when you see it listed on Tigernet. Good luck and enjoy!

Welcome back! I would recommend using Ticketmaster, the official resell site for IPTAY. The prices for Wake are currently starting at $77, which looks about right to me. Keep in mind that the minimum IPTAY level to purchase tickets is Purple, which is $450 per season. At a minimum, each ticket has at a minimum $32.14 per ticket in IPTAY dues associated with it. So folks selling tickets just want to break even. You know that you want to attend homecoming, which tends to be a high demand ticket. I would purchase my tickets and not worry about it. If you want a cheaper game to attend, you can look at one of the first two. Tickets are currently selling under face value for those right now.
If you don’t care about location, you can park in the Seneca Creek Meadows area on the grass and take the shuttle in.
Have a great trip back to Clemson and enjoy the game. I personally want them to spot the ball!

Usually you can find some fine folks on gameday outside the stadium selling tickets cheaply. Don't use the scalpers but usually some Clemson folks will be selling tickets at face value. Also, try the ticket connection portion of T-Net, I have bought a ton of tickets on this site.

I need to direct myself. IPTAY at purple level of $200 per season is the minimum for two season tickets. IPTAY Orange of $450 is the minimum for parking.

Thank you that is very helpful. If we wanted a grass lot within walking distance is lot 16 a bad option? From what I can tell from a map it looks like it is right by Kite Hill, but from what I've heard, so much has changed in the past few years especially with parking. We would rather be on the Anderson/Central side since that is where we're staying.

I don’t know anything about the surface of lot 16. That lot and SCM are the lots designated for IPTAY Orange, $450 a year and the lowest IPTAY level with parking. The pass owner will have paid $64.29 for each game to park there. I don’t know what they are going for on the resell market.

Lot 16 is a nice lot. Grass. Lovely downhill stroll to Sikes and then to stadium.

If we are undefeated at that time demand goes up so prices go up. People sell around the stadium but have not bought from a scalper in so long I could not tell you what they are trying to make off the tickets. Ticket forum normally has some folks selling for a fair price if they are just unable to go.
If you do free parking head out towards the golf course. Honestly a great place to be if you don’t care how far away you are from the stadium.
