For the most part either someone is staunchly anti-cop or staunchly pro-cop, and there seems to be no middle ground. Either you blindly support the cops no matter what or you hate them. Well I don't see it that way. Cops are human. There's plenty of good ones that do good works. At the same time, there's just as many dirty cops that would be criminals without the badge. I guess my point is this:

rights. I'm anti-cop when they themselves are breaking the law or abusing their power. I'm neutral toward them when they are enforcing laws I don't agree with. Anybody who physically resists or interferes with the cops when they are legally carrying out their duties is a fool.

We've allowed them to essentially become a domestic army. It's not about being a good or dirty cop....It's more about how SWAT raids have become routine for minor stuff, and the us vs. them mentality they seem to have fostered. Most of them abuse their power to some extent, whether that is their intention or not.
However, this persists because the majority of the public turns a blind eye and wants to believe the best...Most don't see the light until they get caught up in the system.

Events like these happen out of frustration, lack of knowledge, & boredom.
What we need to do is to go back to what the Romans did with that whole "bread & circuses" deal.
Giving out free, and HARMLESS, cannibus to the plebians & putting on gladiatorial shows with animals vs animals &/or animals vs humans fighting to the death (IN A CONTROLLED ENVIRONMENT) will keep the commoners quiet & limit the revolts.
Michael Brown would still be alive today if he just had some good chron-chron & got to see a two-on-two fight to the death between, for instance, some giraffes & polar bears.
