once #2 moves on
Lotta blame to go around but ultimately the main one responsible for this mess is Cade. The respect from the team isn't there, he's not the leader of successful teams from the past. He never really grew into the player that many expected. He's just not that guy. And Dabo has tried for several years to fit square peg in a round hole.
And that's all there is to. Looking forward to next year without him.

And contrary to popular belief, we probably could have won a Natty with Kelly Bryant

National championship with Kelly Bryant, if playing this year, was not going to happen.
HOWEVER, I believe that we would be a strong contender for the ACC Championship, have a 9 or 10 win regular season, and have a so-so shot at a CFP berth.

Wouldn't we all love to see what the Vizz has to offer at this point?
But more than, just give the dang ball to Randall

Yes. And for the final 4 games of the regular season, a heaping helping of Denson.

From what’s being said from people behind the scenes Vizz isn’t the answer.

Everybody missing something obvious…. Why does Clemson appear smaller, less physical and definitely slower than everyone… the trainers and diet specialists is killing this team. And yea most of the coaches must go too. That Syracuse on side kick for example… but strength and conditioning and dietitians need to be under investigation I think

Agree, good leaders lift the play of everyone around them. I’m not in the locker room but the vibe on the bench doesn’t look like he is someone they are looking up to.
You also don’t hear anyone coming to his defense… other than Dabo.

Bullseye
And for years I've never understood the infatuation Dabo has with Cade. Is Viz that bad? He was a big time recruit.

After the CFP game against TX last year, pretty much everyone believed that being coached up for 3 years at Clemson had finally borne fruit. Big time.
Yet, CK2 turned down what would have been a near certain 2nd or 3rd round pick in NFL draft to come back to Clemson, continue with his upward trajectory, lead his team deep into the CFP, and play his way into NFL first round pick situation … and make a bunch of NIL money by doing all of that.
CK2 did Dabo a solid, and Dabo wanted to show everybody (not just CK2) that he reciprocates when someone makes a big commitment to Clemson.
Dabo has reciprocated. CK2 has under performed through four games. Dabo doesn’t owe CK2 … or any other player … the sacrifice of an entire season for the entire Clemson FB team as proof of gratitude.
It’s time. The good deed has been returned; the debt has been paid.
Vizz to get half the snaps, win or lose, with CK2 getting the others … not to forget Pearman, who should get a good helping of token / late game (blowout … whether we’re winning or losing in the blowout) snaps.
With four games left in the season, split the snaps between Vizz and Denson. Live action auditions are a good thing.

I don’t think he’s infatuated with Cade.
I think he believes Cade is our best option, which is saying something about the guys behind him… and I’m sure he has somewhat of a sense of loyalty to Cade for coming back this year.
I remember when DJU was starting and everyone was clamoring for Cade. It took a while for Dabo to make that change, and it was only limited spot duty initially. I feel like he’s, by far, called out Cade more than any other QB in the past. He would practically coddle DJU.
I think Cade is one of the biggest problems on this team, but certainly not the only one.

Cade does not get the ball out fast enough. From the tv angle it’s hard to tell if no good receiver is open or if he is missing wide open opportunities. I did see several open receivers when he could have checked down but he panics and goes right or left. We need those Deshaun and Trevor type qb run plays we don’t see much of with him this year. Could be wrong but I remember he did that more last year. He may not be Herman material but he could be great if he got the ball out faster imo.

theme in all four of our games this year. Four games and four interceptions. Tripping over his own feet and missing wide open wide receivers is evident in all four games. He has displayed emotional outbursts & taunted opponents when he should be hustling back to the line & preparing for the next play. At this point, with all playoff & ACC Championship hopes gone, there is absolutely zero reason to have DJ2 behind center. I wonder if part of the reason CDS won’t pull him is because of Clemson’s collective & the numerous NIL deals DJ2 has. I would hope not, but it wouldn’t surprise me.
