After Fisher and Kelley, he was around $131 million in buy outs .. should have taken his pen privileges away after Fisher…

Wait a second.....Woodward hired Fisher....yes. Bjork (current AD at Ohio State) gave Fisher the September 2021 extension that raised his salary to $9MM/year through 2031. Hiring and firing Kelly - yes, Woodward.

If you're focused on whether or not Woodward has demonstrated the ability to find good fits for head football coaching vacancies, doesn't change much. If you're trying to pin the massive Fisher buyout on him....you got the wrong guy.

Yup!!! Don't think I've ever heard of a governor saying anything close to that.

Still, not sure why anyone thought Kelly was a good fit for lsu... coaching resume aside, that's oil and vinegar from the get go.
