My family was going to dress up as One Piece characters... all costumes were good except the ones coming from Amazon. They will be late, so my little one will not have his Tony Tony chopper hat...
And worse (fb lulz) of all... my wife will not have her Nami costume.

I watched it and actually thoroughly enjoyed it. I started watching the anime and was like... I cant do this. The thing is, the writing and character development is great. So I just kept watching it. My wife came up to tell me goodnight... looked at the TV and said what the #### are you watching... wxcept she didnt cuss. But that was the tone. I said, I know, its ridiculous, but it is really great writing. She said, well, I am going to bed.
About 1.5 hours later, after she cried twice... she said, ok, I really need to go to bed now.
Afterwards, she and the kids watched the live action with me... and the kids and wife (and me) love it now. I am hooked... and not ashamed to say it.
It is better writing than most shows out there. If you enjoy more of fantasy/pirate/adventure, I would seriously recommend it.
