Clemson needs to win but SMU look very competitive and exciting. This would be best for Clemson and the ACC Financially. 2 Representatives in the playoffs is much more valuable for Clemson than blowing out SMU.

The committee knows it will cause more criticism giving Dabo a bye. I think the SEC and B10 can stomach ASU getting the bye but would be pissed having Dabo having a bye.

Agreed, but I don't want to give up the lead yet. 
Would rather be up 30 going into the 4th and them score 2-3 on our backups...like the good old days earlier this season.

Would rather get 2 ACC teams and get hot early. I predict that the teams getting the bye are going to struggle in their games after a 3 week layoff. Similar to baseball playoffs. A team can get hot and keep it rolling into the second round against a team that has been sitting on their butt.
