Has ice in his veins. Would have probably made the two blocked FG and 1 blocked extra point and be perfect on the season.
He gets multiple FG blocked in the same game but doesn't flinch and knocks the most critical one through at the end of the game.
This kid has a change to break a lot of records. Catanzaro didn't start off nearly this strong.

I was worried how he'd respond on the road after 2 blocked FGs and dude was a champ.
Only thing that's made me nervous is watching those XPs as they've been a little wonky at times sneaking in the goal posts but FG wise...I've got almost no worries watching him after last night.
This dude is gonna be nice to have as a placekicker for 3 more years.

We are going to need him down the stretch. Especially in Blacksburg and Pitt.

Cmon DW, do you seriously think we'll need him in any game? I love the kid and he's money no doubt... but we could have gone for it on 4th several times, a la last year and made most of them last night. I don't think Dabo wanted to gamble with ole mo so absolutely take the points. But imo, we will overwhelmingly win the rest of our games until the playoffs.

Nah man, it's hard to win on the road. Yesterday's games

Were great examples as to why.
VT and Pitt are going to be 4 QTR games. I still think we win both by 2+ possessions but there is going to be a lot of adversity we will have to overcome.

On the road in November at both Blacksburg and Pitt to wrap up regular season conference play? Oh yes, there’s most definitely a chance that special teams could be the deciding factor in both of those games. Every PAT and FG made might be more significant than people think.

Yup. We're going to get their best shot. Our defense is going to need to improve significantly these next few games.

5 made FGs at night in Tallahassee is no easy task, especially for a true freshman. He did it with ease. Hope he got the game ball.

He is incredibly poised for a freshman. I think him stepping up has helped Gunn focus on kickoffs as well.

Great kicker but I would not put him above Catanzaro. Catman only missed 1 FG in each of his Junior and Senior years and finished with an 82% conversion rate, and our all time leading scorer until ETN broke his record.
Gardocki was 56 of 80 or 70% in his Clemson career and Catman was 67 of 82 or nearly 82%. Cat went on to make 119 of 142 for nearly 84% in his NFL career.

Dabo better work on FG protection. Other teams will watch that tape. Having TWO FGs blocked was embarrassing and kept FSU in the game.
