Chuck Grassley is sharp as a knife and still has the energy of a 50 year old.

The age limit suggestion is foolish.

Instead, a member of congress should have term limits that do not exceed 12 consecutive years in office. After sitting out a cycle, then the member of congress may run again for any elected office of his choosing.

The only loophole would be when a 4 or 5 term member of the House runs for and wins a Senate seat, and one term of the first term of the Senate seat gets served out in year 14 or year 16. At that time, the House-turned-Senator must sit out a six year period before running again.

If Americans want to elect octogenarians or vegetables who are actually controlled by people nehind the scenes that aren't accountable then they deserve what they get.

Fettermans a recent example and he isn't even old. The guy couldn't even speak and the morons of Penn fell all over themselves to vote for him, when it'll be his dirtbag wife pulling his strings and telling him how to vote. Enjoy it scumbags.
