I could definitely see them making a swing at Dabo. This year would probably be about their best chance to hire him away from Clemson. I dont want Dabo to leave, just make the required staff changes and get this recruiting and Portal figured out.

Just imagine. Leading up to the first game next year. Dabo comes up and tells the world it’s about to be a blood bath in the real Death Valley. Before he leads his Bayou Bengals out and slaughters his former school. Would be a crazy world lol.

I agree. I know that’s not even close to reality. Just thinking about it was a wild thought. The only school I see Dabo possibly taking that’s open right now is Auburn.

I can’t imagine he’s on a list at a school that wants to win. If they had come after him a few years ago I would’ve believed it but he’s damaged goods now. Not making a bowl playing the 100th hardest schedule in the country not a resume builder.

We should be on our hands and knees praying LSU or anybody else with an opening would come get him.
Would solve a massive problem for us.
Problem is… none of those schools are that stupid. Yall people that post stuff like this really don’t live in reality.
LSU/Auburn/Florida/Penn State any schools like that… the fan base would revolt if they hired Dabo. He wouldn’t last 2 full years at any of those schools and he’d be gone.
His time is over. He’s a dinosaur in modern college football.

Are you 12? Did you go to Clemson? Do you know 20yrs without an ACC Conference Championship? I highly doubt it! Get your head off yo mommy and realize, this is the best stretch Clemson has ever been. Can we be better? Heck yes! But Dabo is not a loser, he will refocus where needed and make us better! Will we win a Natty? Hard to tell because its hard but Dabo knows how to win.

Absolutely zero chance Dabo gets a serious look from any P2 school. This season was a referendum on “Dabo’s way.” The results speak for themselves…

This post is so funny ….no offense to the OP.
Absolutely, unequivocally zero chance that happens.
If he were at LSU, Bama, OSU… he would’ve already been canned. or the AD would’ve demanded changes by now. CDS has it really good at Clemson where the fan base and administration aren’t nearly as toxic as other places that take their football seriously. That’s what made the post Georgia Tech comments so laughable and regrettable. Sure you could go coach elsewhere….but it isn’t gonna be at a major program….at this time.
