Most of this was from India where Dis+ lost the rights to the Premier League Cricket. Another company not knowing who their customers are, just like Bud Light.

There have big several people saying that AppleTV is a big player in the possible purchsse of Disney Media, to include ESPN, ABC, Marvel, and they wanted Dis+ and HULU but Disney has stated firmly that they want to keep Hulu and Dis+. Looks like Apple really wants to get into sports tv as they were negotiating with PAC12 before its collapse.

Apple is like Fox in that it has a lot of cash and well-established distribution channels.
Apple already broadcasts a few MLB games of Friday nights as well as MLS. It will be interesting to watch their growth in sports streaming.

will be curious to see how that goes. From what I read (I think), they tried to get in with both Fanduel and DK, but could not... so they turned to Penn to start their own.

Pat McAfee came from Fan Duel making like $130m, maybe this is why Disney was willing to pay that yahoo $85m for Gameday but maybe his gambling site knowledge as well?

they went with another leftover company too... Penn Entertainment was left scrambling after Portnoy bought back 100% of Barstool.
