but I am invested in UF, having sent one of my kids through for a BA and a Masters, and having another there now getting a BS degree.
In the midst of all the craziness going on around the country on college campuses, Ben Sasse has done a great job dealing with things as President at UF. Yesterday the University put out this statement after taking action against protestors who broke laws and university policy:

the necessary time to comply with the rules - an hour or less - arrest them if they don't comply and charge them as harshly as possible - including expulsion from the University.
Not harsh, not unjustified - there are better ways to have your voice heard.

The Women's March of Washington was the largest record protest of ALL TIME and they are still having their rights restricted.
No peaceful protest has ever done anything.

I couldn't agree with you more, and the very moment they start believing they are above the law bc they are college students, is the very moment they should be reminded that the same laws that governs the older society also governs them to the fullest extent of the law just as it does for everyone 18 years old and over!!!

Majority of these protesters especially the agitators are being paid by some overseas organization. The FBI found a money trail last week but did not release the Group's name at that point. I haven't read where its disclosed yet but anyone chanting "Death to America" should be arrested as terrorists immediately in my opinion.

At one school, I forget which, it was documented that the group had people building tents before the protest started but were put up for the incoming agitators.

neither of those organizations have argued in court that anyone with a brain would know what they are presenting is satire or have been issued nearly a billion dollars in fines for knowingly pushing false conspiracies.
