Well, for one…many MAGA pubs would like to overturn Obergefell, which guarantees her right to be married to her wife. That doesn’t seem insignificant.

Quit her job after Trump was elected in 2020. They had a nice home in Sandy Springs they needed two incomes to afford, so they had to sell their home. She then decided that she cannot bring children in a world where Trump was President and no longer wanted kids. They ended up getting divorced because everything they were going to do when they got married changed. Kids was the last straw.
Political leaders change. I've seen all Republican control, all Democrat control, and various mixed. Things change, elections happen every two years. The world will keep turning.
